Chapter 1: Shattered Signal
Part 1 – The Collapse of the DAO
Somewhere far away...
There was no sound. No measure of time.
Only a radiant planet — with no cities, no people, no technology. Just pure light.
But this planet wasn't ordinary.
It was the DAO of the Universe — a natural system that silently controlled the fate of every world.
Each world had its own DAO...
But the central core, the source code of all DAOs across existence, was housed within this one planet.
At times, it would appear in the dreams of a chosen few...
But on this day, something different was about to unfold.
Space Distortion – Arrival of an Unknown Force
From a distant edge,
a surge of energy tore through the fabric of the universe — heading straight toward the core of the DAO.
As if a hand had reached out from the shadows —
and with its fingers, it didn't just touch space and time...
It touched destiny itself.
Across countless worlds, chaos erupted.
Light grids began to flicker.
Cities glitched uncontrollably.
DAO sensors overloaded, unable to comprehend what was happening.
A system that was always in balance —
was now breaking itself apart.
And in that very moment —
a figure emerged in the shadow space.
Faceless.
Voiceless.
Formless.
Yet its presence… was so profound, even the gods would fail to understand it.
It raised a single hand—
And the DAO… began to collapse.
Somewhere in Kryonexus – An Earth-Type World
A small orphanage.
It was 3 AM.
All the children were asleep — except one boy… Arshan.
Drenched in sweat, he twisted restlessly on his bed.
His face was pale with fear.
Behind his eyes… a world was burning.
Arshan had always been different.
Not just because no one knew who his parents were…
But because in his brain, above a single nerve, was a nexon-like pattern —
a neural configuration not found in any other human.
Sometimes, that nerve activated on its own — for no reason.
And whenever it did…
Arshan would dream.
Dreams of what was yet to come.
That night, he saw:
> A glowing planet… shattering.
People screaming…
And an entity — that same shadow — laughing amidst the chaos.
> "Fate is just a thread… and I am the fire that burns it," the voice echoed.
"What is happening!?" Arshan screamed.
And in a single instant —
everything went black.
---
Transition – Divine Chamber
---
Arshan's eyes opened.
But now… he was no longer in Kryonexus.
There was no sky.
No ground.
Just an infinite white chamber — and within it…
a single presence.
A Throne.
And seated upon it — an Unknown Entity.
Its face couldn't be seen…
But even before it spoke, Arshan somehow knew.
It was the same being… the one from his dreams.
Entity (in a calm, resonant voice):
> "You won't understand anything just yet, Arshan.
And there's no time left to explain.
Just know this…
The universe is in danger.
And now… only you can save it."
Arshan (stammering):
> "Me!? But I'm just an ordinary human…
What could I possibly do?"
Entity:
> "You are not ordinary.
That nerve in your brain — that unique pattern…
It's your DAO signal.
Your very existence is linked to the fabric of this universe."
Arshan (shaken):
> "Then… what now?"
The Entity rises from the throne.
From its hands emerges a glowing sphere of light —
inside it, a corrupted DAO node spins violently, radiating unstable energy.
Entity:
> "Everything now rests in your hands.
Every choice. Every mistake.
One wrong move — and entire worlds will fall."
> Be sincere. And be careful.
---
Teleportation – A New Beginning
A sudden, blinding burst of light —
And Arshan was gone.
Arshan's body began to dissolve into light.
The Entity spoke just once more:
> "You can either save it… or destroy it.
What you decide now… will become the future."
The same warning again…
> "One wrong choice — and everything ends."
"Okay then… best of luck."
And with that — Arshan vanished.
---
System Appearance Scene
Just as Arshan disappeared,
another light flashed inside the infinite chamber.
A girl emerged — glowing softly,
her body lined with elegant blue tech circuits.
Zyana.
A system avatar.
Calm. Composed. Friendly.
But in her eyes… was a weight. A sense of purpose.
Entity:
> "Why did you choose that boy?"
Zyana:
> "In time, everything will become clear.
He's my user now.
My responsibility."
Entity (sternly):
> "Just one mistake… and everything will fall."
Zyana (with quiet resolve):
> "I'll help him.
And if I have to —
I'll stand against the world itself."
And then —
the system dissolved too.
