Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 – The Whisper Beyond the Void

Everything felt… distant.

Voices echoed. But Raien heard none of them.

Just one sound.A whisper.

Deep.Distorted.Almost… familiar.

"You were never meant to see it."

He opened his eyes.

Or thought he did.

White stretched in every direction. But there was no ground. No sky.No gravity.

He floated.

Alone.

In the real world, Kakashi knelt beside Raien.Blood dripping from the boy's nose.

His left eye—open.

Still glowing.

Kakashi placed two fingers on Raien's neck.

Pulse: erratic.Breathing: shallow.

But he was alive.

Just not… here.

Inside the void, Raien turned.

Something was moving.

No footsteps.No sound.

Just the air bending.

Then—The voice again.

"The Eye sees too much."

Raien clenched his fists.

"Who are you?"

Silence.

Then—

A figure appeared.

Wearing a cloak made of shadows.Face hidden.Only one thing visible—

An eye.

Red.Bleeding.Spiraling.

But it wasn't Sharingan.

It wasn't anything from this world.

Raien stepped back.

The figure raised a hand.

"Your soul is fractured. Your dojutsu… unnatural. But necessary."

Raien growled, "Necessary for what?"

The figure didn't answer.

Just turned.

Behind him… a door.

Black.

Carved in seals.

Chains wrapped around it.

But the seals were cracked.

Outside—

The sky bled deeper.

A storm was forming over the Forest of Death.

The orb that dropped from the rip?Gone.

But the being that crawled out—

Still standing.

Still breathing.

Still asking.

"Where… is the Eye?"

Its voice traveled through wind.

Not loud.

But felt by everyone.

Tsunade clenched her fist.

"ANBU. Move in."

They nodded.

Vanished in puffs of smoke.

Naruto stood at the edge of the village.

He felt it.

Didn't know what it was.

But he felt it.

Kurama stirred.

"That's not chakra," the fox said.

Naruto frowned.

"Then what is it?"

Kurama didn't answer.

He couldn't.

Because even he didn't know.

Sasuke opened a scroll.

The Uchiha Clan's forbidden texts.

He flipped through ancient pages.

Stopped at one drawing.

A spiral eye.

But not Sharingan.Not Rinnegan.

A third one.

"Void Eye," he muttered.

Only one sentence was written.

"It doesn't evolve. It remembers."

Sasuke's hands shook.

"…What the hell did you become, Raien?"

Back in the void, Raien approached the door.

He could hear it now.

Screaming.

But not from behind the door.

From inside his own head.

The seals glowed faintly.

Then—Snapped.

One by one.

He turned to the cloaked figure.

"What's behind it?"

The figure didn't speak.

Just smiled.

Raien reached for the handle.

And pulled.

In the real world—Raien's eye burst open.

Kakashi stepped back.

A pulse exploded from his body.Invisible.But felt.

Trees swayed.Windows cracked.

Crows fled.

Even the being in the Forest of Death paused.

Its faceless head tilted.

"The Eye is awake."

Inside the door—

Darkness.

Not absence of light. But light twisted into something wrong.

Raien stepped through.

His feet hit… ground.

Cold.

Wet.

He was in a ruined temple.

Torches lit by themselves.

Walls carved in blood.

Dozens of murals.

He walked past them slowly.

Each showed a figure like him.A single eye.Broken.

But powerful.

Each one standing before cities.

Each one—dying.

Miserable.Alone.Cursed.

Then he reached the last mural.

It showed him.

Raien.

Same clothes.Same face.

Except… the mural showed his future.

Burning everything.

Eyes glowing gold.Wings made of flame and bone.

Standing atop corpses.

A god.Or a monster.

He stumbled back.

"No…"

The ground beneath cracked.

He fell—

Back in the real world—

Raien's body jolted.

He sat up straight.

Gasping.

Chest heaving.

Kakashi reached for him.But paused.

Raien's eye had changed.

Still broken.But now—The pieces moved.

Floating within the socket.

Constantly reshaping.

Kakashi spoke carefully.

"What did you see?"

Raien didn't answer.

His voice was hoarse.

"Don't let me sleep again."

Kakashi's eye narrowed."…Why?"

Raien looked up.

Cold sweat on his forehead.

"If I sleep again… I won't wake up."

Somewhere in the shadows—

A new figure stepped out.

Watching everything.

Wearing a mask.

Long hair.

Holding an old scroll.

A whisper escaped her lips.

"The last one survived. That's… unexpected."

She closed the scroll.

Vanished into the wind.

But not before looking back.

"…Let's see how far he makes it."
