Yohan felt both panicked and furious as he knew that Claudia was still alive. Especially when he heard that the two men he hired were caught by his father's men.
During his 23 years of life, he didn't know that his father had a secret team behind his company.
"What should we do? If your father finds out who sent the money to them. He'll be looking for both of us in no time!" Stephanie was in a bit of a panic.
She didn't want to be charged for what happened to Claudia.
"Even if we get arrested and put in jail later, I'm sure your father can pay the security deposit, right?" Yohan asked while holding both of Stephanie's shoulders.
Hearing that, the blonde woman hesitated to answer. It was as if she was actually covering up something, but she didn't want Yohan to find out.
"Of course my father can! But we just asked for money from him even with a very large amount. My father will be very angry if I ask him for more money!"
Yohan let out a rough sigh as soon as he realized that. He then racked his brains, trying to figure out a way for the two of them to avoid going to jail for kidnapping and injuring Claudia.
However, of course it wouldn't be easy because it was very difficult to conceal things from Davion.
"For now it's better to keep quiet and not say anything. Act like nothing happened," said Yohan, trying to remain calm.
He felt that there was no way Davion would report him to the police for this incident.
He was his only son, and Yohan was sure Davion would have no choice but to cover up this crime.
It was obvious that this would also affect Davidson's good name and Davion's company.
"My father is a very calculating man with all the risks and consequences. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't dare reveal our crime to the public," he said confidently.

After 3 days of hospitalization, Claudia was finally allowed to go home. But she didn't go straight home but instead she went to Davion's house.
Davion thought that Claudia would definitely find it difficult to go about her daily activities because of her current condition. Moreover, she only lived alone, so he couldn't bear to leave her in such an unhealthy condition.
"You'd better come back to my house, and stay with me until you're much better. I'll have someone come to your house to bring your clothes and everything else you need while you're here," he said.
"But I'm fine. The doctor said I just need to rest for a few days, and my condition will improve," replied Claudia who felt bad if she had to continue staying at Davion's house.
She who was not used to being treated so well like that, felt that she was very troublesome for Davion.
However, he said that he himself did not feel inconvenienced at all and he was the one who asked Claudia to stay at his house.
"I told you to be there so that I could control your activities. Even though only your right hand is broken, you are still not allowed to use your left hand excessively."
Knowing there was no point in arguing about this. Claudia finally gave up and she nodded her head in agreement to stay at Davion's house until her condition seemed to improve.
"Good, you'd better listen to me and not fight too much. While I'm working, there's Jane who will take care of you so you can ask her for help later," said the CEO as he nodded his head, satisfied with Claudia's decision to temporarily stay with him.
They exited the hospital and waited for Alex to come pick them up in his car.
"Do you want to go straight home or should we go out for lunch first?"
"I think it's better if we go straight to your house. We can have lunch at your house," Claudia replied to which Davion nodded his head.
He called the maid at home to cook lunch. While Davion was on the phone with Jane, Claudia was paying attention to her surroundings and she didn't realize that a woman walking behind her had just gotten out of the hospital.
THUD!
Claudia's body, which was still a bit limp, immediately fell down, and it startled Davion who immediately went to her.
"It hurts..." she said while whimpering in pain.
"Can't you see that I'm in a hurry? I wasn't standing in my way, look what you did to me!" the woman said as she scolded Claudia.
She dusted off her clothes as she rubbed her arm, which was sore from the collision with Claudia.
"I'm sorry, I was just daydreaming so I didn't see the other person walking behind me," Claudia said as she apologized.
"Are you okay?" Davion asked her while checking on her.
She nodded her head, saying she was fine even though she was only slightly hit during the collision. Davion breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that, as he had been worried when Claudia fell. It was possible that her hand had taken a hit and it could have worsened her condition.
As he was busy helping Claudia to stand up, the woman who had bumped into him earlier took off her sunglasses as soon as she looked at Davion.
"You are Davion Davidson, right? Davion from the business class when he was at Ramorans High School, right?" the woman asked cautiously.
Hearing his full name mentioned, as well as the name of the school when Davion was in high school, made the man turn to her and look at the woman with a curious gaze.
"Do I know you?" he asked while helping Claudia up.
The woman's annoyed face immediately turned into a happy face when she found out that the man in front of her was indeed the Davion she knew. She immediately ran up to her and smiled at her.
"You still look very handsome even at this age. I never thought we would meet!"
However, Davion didn't seem to recognize her and he asked her not to get too close to him.
'Who is this woman? Do they know each other? Judging from her face, she's about the same age as him but looks younger. Maybe a facial?' Claudia thought curiously.
"Sorry, I don't remember you at all." Davion looked at her still with a confused face.
The woman chuckled, and replied that she was Davion's high school classmate. The man was starting to remember her a bit and it made her feel relief.
"It's me, Patricia Deborah. Your close friend from high school."
