Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Just One Sword!

"Asshole, do you have to be so damn exaggerated…?"

Gamabunta, towering at over fifty meters, stood dumbfounded, gazing up at the colossal figure in front of him—Susanoo: Complete Form, which stood at over two hundred and thirty meters tall.

As a legendary summoning beast, Gamabunta had always prided himself on his size. Even if Katsuyu was technically bigger, he never felt small.

But now, staring at this towering behemoth of chakra armor…

Gamabunta: Alright, alright… I'm your little brother, okay?!

---

"How… how is this even possible…"

Princess Tsunade looked equally stunned.

She simply couldn't believe that Leo's power had reached such a terrifying level.

Just moments ago, the one-eyed Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan Susanoo, which was a staggering one hundred and forty meters, already seemed almost godlike.

But now—two hundred and thirty meters?!

This was simply absurd.

Back then, Tsunade had thought that if Katsuyu and Gamabunta teamed up, they might barely be able to match that earlier Susanoo. And if Jiraiya entered Sage Mode, they might even have a real shot at taking it down.

But this…?

Just standing in front of it made her feel like it could obliterate them all with a single kick.

This was no longer a battle—they were facing a natural disaster.

---

"The only one who could have stopped me… was Hashirama."

Leo's voice rang out coldly from the crystal-like helm atop the Susanoo's forehead.

"Unfortunately… he no longer walks this world."

As he spoke, the Susanoo's gigantic armored hand slowly moved toward the sword sheathed at its waist.

Then—

BOOM!!

With a single motion, the Susanoo drew its blade and slashed.

A dazzling arc of blue-white sword energy erupted forth like a divine thunderbolt, roaring across the battlefield and heading straight toward the Konoha forces.

---

"Oh no—get down!!" Tsunade and Jiraiya both shouted in horror.

But before they could finish speaking—

CLANG—BOOOOOOM!!!

"AAAHH!!!"

Screams echoed as the entire battlefield was consumed by the slash.

But many didn't even get the chance to scream.

They were instantly reduced to ash beneath the sheer power of the sword light.

---

"Pffft…!" Jiraiya was blasted backward like a ragdoll, coughing up blood mid-air.

Pain surged through the right side of his body, and when he looked down…

His entire right arm was gone.

In the final moment, Jiraiya had instinctively used that arm to push Tsunade out of the way.

Thanks to that, she survived relatively unscathed.

But Jiraiya…

He had narrowly avoided death—but lost an arm in return.

---

BANG!!

On the other side, Gamabunta had just barely escaped a direct hit using a massive frog jump. But even so, the devastating shockwave hurled him into dozens of houses.

"Cough… cough…!" he wheezed, blood gushing from his mouth.

He could barely move, let alone lift the enormous blade he usually wielded.

"You bastard… You almost killed me…" Gamabunta cursed weakly as more blood trickled down his lip.

---

Meanwhile, Tsunade, who had been pushed away just in time, emerged from the rubble.

Thanks to her Hundred Healings Technique, she survived with only minor injuries.

But the scene that awaited her—

Her eyes widened in disbelief.

A massive abyss, nearly seventy meters wide, stretching several kilometers long, had split all of Konoha clean in half!

She watched in horror as shattered buildings teetered at the edges and broken bodies fell endlessly into the dark chasm.

---

"Lord Tsunade!" a familiar voice called out.

Katsuyu, still alive thanks to her ability to divide her body, appeared at Tsunade's side.

Though she had suffered less damage than others, many of her split clones had been utterly vaporized by the sword.

When she finally looked down at the abyss…

And saw the mangled limbs and corpses of Konoha shinobi…

Even the wise and ancient slug was struck speechless.

---

"Shikamaru…!"

Nearby, Ino and Chōji broke into sobs as they knelt beside their fallen friend.

Shikamaru's lifeless body lay among the ruins, unmoving.

"I'm sorry…" Katsuyu murmured. "My clones… they can't bring back the dead."

A short distance away, Nara Shikaku, still clutching a bloody wound on his side, finally limped over.

He said nothing.

Just knelt down and placed a hand on his son's chest… staring blankly.

---

"Neji!!"

On the other side of the field, Tenten and Rock Lee knelt by Hyuga Neji.

His body, covered in blood, lay motionless.

Apparently, at the final moment, he had unleashed a full-powered Rotation to shield them both from the sword.

He had saved their lives.

At the cost of his own.

Katsuyu's nearby clone looked at Neji helplessly—there was nothing it could do.

---

However, there was one place where the damage seemed minimal.

Click—!

Hatake Kakashi lowered a massive Earth-Style Mud Wall.

Behind it stood Team 7—Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

All three stared in stunned silence at the devastation beyond.

The abyss.

The blood.

The flames.

Could all of this really have been stopped by just a mud wall?

Kakashi's brows furrowed.

Why… was their side barely touched?

"…Could it be…" he turned to look at Sasuke.

Could Leo have intentionally avoided hitting his fellow Uchiha?

It was the only explanation that made sense.

---

"This power…" Sasuke muttered.

His Sharingan eyes locked onto the glowing titan in the distance.

Was this… really what the founder of the Uchiha Clan was capable of?

Could a human being really wield such overwhelming might?

It felt surreal. Like watching a god descend to earth.

---

"How… how could the village become like this…" Sakura's voice was faint.

She clutched her chest, staring out at the abyss that now bisected her home.

Beside her, Naruto had already dashed out—his emotions completely out of control.

---

"Shikamaru…!"

He saw his fallen friend—and froze.

Then—

"Neji…!"

Another familiar body lay lifeless.

"No… no no no…" Naruto stumbled toward Neji's body, shaking with anger and disbelief.

---

"Naruto-kun."

A soft voice called from nearby.

Hinata, along with her father Hiashi, walked up slowly.

Hinata covered her mouth in horror at the sight of her cousin.

"Neji-niisan…"

---

"Pervy Sage!!"

Naruto's eyes widened when he finally noticed Jiraiya, half-lying on the ground, his right arm missing.

He immediately ran over, panic overtaking him.

"Pervy Sage, you… you…"

The sight of all this—the death of his friends, the destruction, and now Jiraiya's terrible injury—was almost too much to bear.

Especially the bloody stump where Jiraiya's arm used to be.

"Heh… don't worry, kid," Jiraiya smiled weakly. "I'm the great Toad Sage Jiraiya. It'll take more than that to kill me."

He gently ruffled Naruto's hair with his remaining hand.

Tears streamed silently down Naruto's face.

---

Soon, all the surviving shinobi—Kakashi, Kurenai, Anko, Hiashi, Shikaku, and more—gathered again.

Wounded, grieving, but alive.

At that moment—

Zheng… Zheng…

The ground trembled beneath the massive steps of the approaching Susanoo.

Each footfall sent tremors across what was left of Konoha.

The titan was coming for them.

---

"…Asshole…"

Naruto's fists clenched.

His breath became heavy.

His eyes began to turn red.

And for the first time in a long time—

Naruto wanted to kill.
