It's all happened like a dream which I know I would never recover from. I know you must be wondering how I ended up in this mess yeah same too. I was wondering how I ended up in this situation, but I guess I must be paying for my foolishness and my stupidity.
It's all happened so quickly that I didn't even have time to process what was happening. I don't know if I should call it being betrayed or should I say I was just too lost in the feeling of trusting someone I thought was my family Someone I took like my blood
As an Orphan, who had lost his Parents at a tender age I came across Phoebe, who was like my whole family left. She mean the world to me. She was the only one I could trust, cause she treated me like a family.
She made me feel special. She made me feel different and never criticized my doings before she has always been supportive, no matter what we have always got each other back.
It was just early in the morning. I woke up, feeling disorientated and down. Just to the previous night I had lost my job everything all happened in just the night. One moment I was being chased by mafia boss and the next moment I lost my job I think luck must have ran out on me.
Turns out the mafia boss took a liking to me which I declined politely and I expected it to end there because as a bartender who works at night shift I have been asked out by different species just name it, I know am attractive to both gender so I don't blame them I just reject them politely. But unfortunately, for me, the mafia boss was not ready to let go which I thought the matter has been settled. I was daydreaming lost in my thoughts when the tone of my phone snapped me out. I look to see and it was Phoebe calling. I picked the call without hesitation. I could hear her giggling happily I knew at once she had something up her sleeve. Hello I picked up the call. She replied me hey buddy, I couldn't contain my curiosity so I asked her what's making her so happy Hey, she replied. I just got a job for you as a person who just lost his job. Of course I must be happy out of excitement. I asked her what is this job about and she replied you have to come over to my place to see at first. I had a bad feeling about this, but it's Phoebe. I trusted her so I got up and put on some clothes and headed out to her place but surprised to find out she wasn't in there then I dialed her number asking to know where she is. She picked the call at once saying Hey buddy, I'm at the basement I was shocked my instincts kicking in But I ignored it and headed for the basement.
Getting to the basement it was all dark and hard to see I was about to pull out my phone to put the flashlight on and call phoebe, what type of game is she playing at? When I heard a footstep walking towards my direction I was about to turn when I was hit hard in the head by something I couldn't describe exactly, everything around me went completely dark, but before I became unconscious I could hear voices. A familiar voice of Phoebe and a voice giving out the aura of a powerful person maybe a mafia I guess, due to the dark I couldn't see the person face but I could hear them talking about a deal with Phoebe saying, I already did my part now keep to your words and fulfill your part I cherish my brother a lot that I just betrayed my friend and don't you dare hurt my friend he's in your hands now, the stranger replied I won't hurt him that bad if he cooperates. With that I lost consciousness only to wake up in a strange environment.
