"It seems folks that our weather forecast today is looking cloudy with a chance of a light rain, currently the weather in New Eridu is 75 degrees. However expected to drop later."

"Where is double M at? He sure is taking his sweet time! We're supposed to be heading to the beach by now before it gets too hot" Ricky said with a sigh to his friend, taking a bite out of his breakfast sandwich being a BLT. While he also tapped away on the table with his free hand as the radio continues to play the news in the background.
"He's performing a mission given by the boss that he entrusted to double M only, Miguel wouldn't say what was the mission though. Only something about getting revenge on the government. Probably just having him steal a police cruiser.
Like imagine if he had him steal from a government facility which held like some kind of high tech AI, leading to us getting labeled as terrorists? Imagine that Rick" Dorian said to his friend making Ricky chuckle as they both was full on laughing.
"Say Ricky why does double M want to come to the beach with us again? He's like some kind of robot right? So water would be bad for him"
Dorian asked Ricky while opening a purple bag of Dortos and took out a square chip, Dorian was a large fellow with a big stomach. Small amount of hair close to his head that kinda made him look nearly bald and wore a red shirt with blue pants.
"Dude seriously? Chips this early? Come on man watch your health, you worry me with your eating habits man." Ricky told Dorian disapprovingly while reaching out to snatch the bag of chips and handed over his spare BLT sandwich to Dorian. Having Duber himself two, one for now and another for later. He felt too lazy to get make hismelf breakfast.
Ricky was your average dude, average height, light skin with red hair and had a Johnny Bravo hair style. (Best way I can describe his hair that I saw in the game) He used to be a dentist, until he lost his license for ruining the guy who raped his sister teeth and got caught mid removal of the man front teeth.
It was worth the jail time.
Both men was currently inside a one bed room apartment, one of them usually slept on the couch while the other the bed.
Both taking turns sharing the bed since that seemed fair. It was cheaper to be roommates and save up on Dennie's considering the current economy in New Eridu, stuff wasn't cheap and neither was rent.
Except for living in the poor side of New Eridu but that came with its own risks of course.
"Hey I'm not planning on sticking around in life for long. I'm here for a short fun time you got me? Hmph I'm not gonna stick around till old age and get corrupted by a hollow, or ripped into shreds by some bum ass chameleon ethereal. No sir dying from diabetes to some other health problem most likely less painful than ether corruption or getting ripped a new one by an ethereal."
Dorian liked to see himself as a realist in a sense, he didn't believe he had a future simply. No parents to lead him to a bright future or any meaningful adults, was homeless most of his life till he got found by Miguel when he was just hitting eighteen.
Joining the gang gave meaning and a form of stability he felt he desperately needed in his life.
School just didn't work out when he did try learning to get smart, least that was the idea. He just wasn't smart enough, everyone having a head start it felt….demoralizing.
Then having the constant threat of hollows? Man screw the world at that point. Like was already hard now it needs to add bullcrap of randonly spawning orbs of doom with monsters inside it. Said hollows being able to just appear anywhere?
"Be considerate enough to at least try to live more healthy for those who care about you. You got friends, the gang like a family and we do nothing but love you. Could you at least try? To also answer your question from earlier, double M never saw an ocean before. So he wanted to come with, don't see an issue denying his request."
Before either could continue the conversation they heard the door nob to their apartment twist and turn opening with a loud creek, it was loud enough the sound was worthy of giving away a character location in a horror movie.
"I believe with new door hingies or some oil I can get the door to stop making such annoying sounds."
Said the 'man' with red eyes. He was wearing a black skin tight suit covered by a red armour with yellow accents. On his head is a helmet colored red and holds a small round saw blade on the forehead and he has yellow knobs with spikes on the sides where his ears are, he also sports a red mask that covers his nose and mouth. His armor is also red with a blue trim surrounding a yellow circle on the center of his chest plate and also has two round saw blades where his shoulders meet his body. He also sports a red pelvic plate, red gloves and yellow boots.
He was also average height for a male, this was Metal man. DWN-09 to be exact, but he just goes by the name he was given or the nickname his new friends have given him.
"Hey man your done with the assignment already? Figured you'd be still planning or something, did you even take anyone with you?"
Ricky was surprised Metal man was back so soon. He was given a mission only a day ago and a day later he was already done? Damn military grade robots are something else.
"That is correct, I've completed my mission objective that the master asked of me. I didn't take anyone with me either, it would be faster and easier to achieve it. Without risk of getting caught."
While Metal man spoke to both his fellow….friends? Gang members? Coworkers? Metal man would hop on the couch and lay down and get himself comfortable.
Ricky along with Dorian who both could only stare at the robot that ruined their couch once more with his shoulder saw blades digging into the cushions. The only redeeming upside was the couch was cheap, like most of the stuff Ricky and Dorian owned.
"I'm going to power down, please wake me when we're going to the beach."
"Ah before you do are you allowed to tell us what Miguel have you steal? We're really curious from how secretive Miguel was being"
"Ricky if Miguel was being secretive it's probably for a re-"
"Oh master had me steal a strong box from the institute, it was heavily guarded and from what I gather very important to them. My scanning systems couldn't detect what was exactly in the strongbox, so they made the safe into a material not easily scan able. it's something worth stealing if it was that protected"
Listening to the info dump made Dorian and Ricky both look at each other, both had a brief silent conversation before turning their heads to look at Metal man with shock and concern.
"Miguel had you steal from WHO?!" "He had you steal WHAT?!"
Both men said respectively in a shout leaving Metal man to stare at them, he tilted his head a bit as he sat up from the couch. Which ripped a piece of the fabric that got stuck on his saw blades on his shoulder.
"What? What's the matter? It's not that big of deal right?"
"Not a big deal? It's a major big deal when you steal from a government facility!"
Ricky shouted exasperatedly while getting up quickly in a panicked haste. And took out his car keys while heading to the door with Dorian following after. "We gotta go! We need to get Miguel to send that shit back pronto!"
Metal man had a feeling they was not going to the beach today. Which was a shame because he really wanted to see what sand and the ocean looked like.

These humans was strange, weird even. These humans was...
"These guys are pretty damn goofy compared to the humans of my original world, it's rather remarkable and entertaining to a degree"
Metal man remarked to himself while watching the average civilian walk on by. Currently he was sitting in the passanger seat of Ricky car, Dorian was in the back. Metal man watched each person going on with their lives without a care in the world while the car drove down the street, heading toward their base of operations in their territory.
Both men didn't respond to Metal man, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Ricky was too focused on driving and Dorian succumbed to falling asleep during a car ride nap.
Metal man day wasn't going well. He didn't get to see the beach and now his schedule might get too busy for a visit. Could this day get any worse? Truly what is the worst that could happen!
Metal man takes solace in the fact that at least his day was better than the crook in a chase he was witnessing as the car drives past the scene.
The stereotypical crook who stole a purse was running from a pair of pub sec police officers. It was strange for metal man to bare witness upon the sight of a small round robot mas- correction, Bangboo robot gain speed on the criminal it chased. Then it leapt using it stubby small legs and head butts the criminal in the back making with its round squishable body. This made both criminal and Bangboo crash onto the floor with the Bangboo landing onto the criminal back.
"Enh en eh nah!" (You have the right to remain silent!) the Bangboo shouted in Bangboo speech. All the while the human officer got onto the crook back who struggled and placed into handcuffs.
The officer was an average person in metal man eyes, except for the fact this officer had a corgi tail sticking from their backside through their pants.
That was something strange and new for metal man to get used too. Thirens is what the humans call those with animal traits. He only expected them to exist in a thing called anime.
Checking his databanks for the anime he saw briefly one time while waiting for Megaman to reach his base, the anime show he seen was called Inuyasha.
One of the main characters had cat ears, metal man only seen one episode but it was pretty interesting until Megan showed up to his base for a fight.
Interestingly enough Thirens have a sub species where they are called 'Beast' Thirens, who are more beastal in nature. Like being covered in fur, more animal looking than just having ears and a tail.
This left Metal man quite intrigued in fact. Was their any racism against Thirens in the past and current present? After all human prejudice was something that was usually prominent, either it was prejudice against robots and robot masters or against race.
Another question that was brought more suspicion was how did Thirens come to be?
Did a human mate with an ani-
That line of thinking was stopped and promptly replaced with wanting to see the beach.
Much preferable than thinking on humans questionable activity.
"Alright we're here!"
Ricky said as he pulled into a nearby parking lot, it was a small one the gang was able to.
Metal man didn't know you can own one. Then again he was no finance robot master and simply one for combat.
While Ricky got out the car with metal man, he moved and opened the door to the backseat. Just so he can wake of Dorian.
"Hey guys, look everyone's cars are here. Seems like Master Wi- Miguel is calling everyone in"
Metal man noted when he observed everyone in the gang seemed to be here. "Huh you're right, guess Silver wanted everyone in today. Weird how how he didn't call us yet"
Dorian spoke while letting out a yawn, he closed the back door behind him only for Ricky and Dorian phones to go off.
"Speaking of Miguel" Ricky said taking out his phone to answer it, only for a loud BOOM! As an explosion occurred with a wall of the silver fang gang base to explode outwards, Metal man moved quickly to stand in front of his two companions.
Saw blades in both hands he threw them at rubble that was flying towards them, cutting them clean in half making the pieces of concrete to go off course.
"What the fuck just happened!"
Dorian shouted in shock as Ricky tapped both Dorian and metal man arms and pointed.
"LOOK!"
He shouted as three figures ran out of the hole in the wall and made a break for it down the block. One of them was a women with pink hair who carried what appeared to be a safe in her arms.
The second women was more shorter than her two companions having silver hair, a weird green and black outfit with a skirt and a strange looking backpack with a holstered weapon.
The third figure was a tall fellow with silver hair that looked like a automaton with a red jacket with some kind of boar on the back and two pistols (would his guns count as hand cannons? I'm no gun expert sorry)
"Well that was weird"
Metal man remarked watching the trio run on by, until the current trio being Dorian, Metal man and Ricky turned to look at the hole in their gang hideout.
With the rest of their fellow members rushing out of said hole carrying weapons with Miguel silver leading the charge with…
Tears streaming down his face and pointed in the direction where the three thief's ran off.
"A-A-After them!"
He shouted at the trio.
Metal man knew he was definitely not seeing the beach today.
But he obays the master order and raced after the three thief's who has stolen what was rightfully his master property having of course stolen it first.
As a chase ensues something else is happening in another part of New Eridu, specifically one store that rents video tapes.
A store on sixth street that had a music store across from it, and near it an officer with the embarrassing job of being officer Mewmew.
The video store was random play that had two siblings who somehow had the sleeper build and one of them with an unbelievable amount RIZZ-
"We interrupt you're regular programming for this breaking news. A companion hollow has suddenly appeared on fourteenth street and has already breached level three containment"
Said the women on the tv inside random play in the backroom.
The beginning of events that will shape New Eridu has began.

It appeared in my head while going on a walk and listening to music, and figured why not give it a shot?

I will delve how Metal man got into Miguel silver service in the next chapter so no worries if your confused.
Unfortunately my only experience with Megaman is watching lore videos and reading the Archie Megaman comics so all my knowledge comes from them.
If you know where else I can get information on Megaman franchise please lemme know, as most of the stuff I shall be pulling from is Archie and whatever knowledge I can get from lore videos
