“Please… please release me, my lord!”
A young woman’s scream rang out, which was immediately stifled by a man’s voice.
“Shut up, wench! Every time you resist me, I’ll leave another bruise on your body.”
Slap!
Another loud sound rang out after the man’s words, which was then followed by the woman’s scream.
“Ack!”
Hearing what was happening, the guards, the guests, and even Perris couldn’t help but frown. As his cousin and close friend, Perris turned a blind eye to Gareth bringing a woman to the garden and committing lowly deeds to engage in illicit activities, but he didn’t remember permitting him to use foul language or violence. It wasn’t because he cared about the women, but rather because he did not want any potential disturbances like how he was here now.
“We’ll capture them, Your Highness.”
Perris frowned as he contemplated on the situation, but ultimately had no choice but to give the order. “Bring them to me immediately.”
