Chapter 10 - Chapter 10*The Tournament Finals*

As Marco and Kael were helped up by the school's medical personnel, Professor Astrid declared, "Given the circumstances, I declare this match a draw."

The medical team tended to Marco and Kael, checking their vital signs and providing them with water and medical attention. Elara, Griselda, Luna, and Sophia hovered anxiously nearby, relieved that their friend was okay.

Professor Orion nodded in agreement with Professor Astrid's decision. "A rematch will give both Marco and Kael a chance to regroup and come back stronger," he said.

The crowd began to disperse, buzzing with excitement about the prospect of a rematch. Lylah watched as Marco and Kael were cared for, a sense of hope and anticipation building within her.

As the medical personnel continued to tend to Marco and Kael, Professor Astrid announced, "The rematch will be scheduled once both Marco and Kael have fully recovered. Let's see what the future holds for these two talented students."

Kael's eyes fluttered closed, and he fell into a deep sleep, his mind consumed by a swirling vortex of fears and doubts. In his dream, he was lost in a dark forest, pursued by shadowy figures that seemed to represent all his deepest fears.

Just as he thought he'd collapse under the weight of his anxieties, Kael saw a hand reaching out to him. It was Marco's hand, strong and reassuring. Kael felt a surge of hope and relief as Marco's hand grasped his, pulling him out of the darkness and into the light.

Kael's eyes snapped open, and he sat up with a start. But instead of the dark forest, he saw Lylah standing beside him and Marco, a warm smile on her face.

"You guys are awake," she said, her voice gentle. "How are you feeling?"

Kael rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the lingering fogginess of sleep. He looked over at Marco, who was stirring, and then back at Lylah. "I...I think I'm okay," he said, his voice still rough from sleep.

Lylah nodded, her smile growing wider. "Good. The medical team said you'll both be fine. You just need to rest and recover."

As Kael looked at Lylah, he felt a sense of gratitude wash over him. He glanced at Marco, who was now sitting up, looking a bit disoriented. Kael's dream lingered in his mind, and he felt a sense of connection to Marco that he hadn't felt before.

Marco's eyes sparkled with determination as he turned to Kael. "Kael, get ready," he said, his voice filled with anticipation. "Let's go for the rematch."

Kael's expression was calm and collected as he replied, "I'm ready."

But before they could make any moves, Lylah intervened, her brow furrowed with concern. "You guys are not yet recovered," she said. "You need to rest and take care of yourselves."

Just then, the doctor walked in, a clipboard in hand. "Actually, I've checked your vitals, and it seems there's no permanent damage," he said. "You've just used up a lot of energy. But if you both feel recovered now, I see no reason why you can't proceed with the rematch."

Marco's eyes locked onto Kael's, a fierce glint in them. "Kael, let's see who will win - you or me," he said, his voice dripping with confidence.

Kael's expression remained calm, but a hint of determination crept into his eyes. "I'm looking forward to it," he said, his voice steady.

The stage was set for an epic rematch, and everyone was eager to see what would happen next.

Professor Astrid, stepped forward, a microphone in hand. "The rematch between Marco and Kael is declared!" he announced, his deep voice echoing through the arena.

The spectators erupted into cheers, their voices rising to a deafening crescendo. "Let's see who wins!" they shouted, eager to witness the epic battle.

Lylah's eyes shone with excitement as she watched Marco and Kael take their positions. "I want to see who will win," she thought to herself, her heart racing with anticipation.

Marco's friends, Elara, Griselda, Luna, and Sophia, were equally enthusiastic, cheering and chanting for Marco's victory. "Go Marco! Go Marco!" they shouted, their voices carrying across the arena.

Professor Astrid raised his hand, and the crowd fell silent. "Let the battle begin!" he declared.

As Marco and Kael faced off, the atmosphere in the arena began to shift. The weather seemed to change, the air electric with anticipation. The whole academy felt the change in aura, and even the principal sensed the energy emanating from the two students.

The professors at the arena were equally eager, their eyes fixed intently on Marco and Kael. "This is going to be an outstanding fight," one of them whispered to another. "I've never seen two students with so much potential clash like this."

The crowd held its collective breath as Marco and Kael began to circle each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air was thick with tension, and everyone knew that this was going to be a battle for the ages.

"Let's see who will emerge victorious," Professor Astrid said, his voice firm and commanding. "The battle begins now."

With that, Marco and Kael charged at each other, their powers clashing in a spectacular display of energy and skill. The crowd erupted into cheers, and the battle for supremacy had begun.

Kael suddenly stopped his aura, and the energy surrounding him dissipated. Everyone was surprised, including Marco's friends and Lylah. Lylah's eyes widened in surprise as she thought to herself, "It seems like Kael's healing has begun."

Kael took a step back, his eyes fixed on Marco. "I surrender," he said, his voice calm and collected.

Marco's expression was one of surprise, and he took a step forward. "You can't just surrender like that, Kael," he said. "Let's finish the fight."

But Kael just smiled and bowed his head. "Thanks, Marco. You win this."

Kael's words were laced with a hint of respect, and Marco's expression softened. "Let's see who will become stronger in the future," Kael said, making a promise with Marco.

Marco nodded, and the two of them shook hands. "I'll look forward to it," Marco said, grinning.

Lylah watched the exchange between Marco and Kael, a sense of determination growing within her. She saw the potential for something special between the three of them - Marco, Kael, and herself. They were going to strive through the future together, as a team.

As Kael walked away, he couldn't help but think about Marco. In his mind's eye, he pictured Marco's face - his yellow and black hair, with the yellow like a round cut on top and the black on the underside, his piercing blue eyes, and his tall, athletic build. But most of all, Kael remembered Marco's warm smile, and the sense of camaraderie that had developed between them.

"I've found a friend in Marco," Kael thought to himself, a sense of wonder and gratitude filling his heart. He couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.

Professor Astrid stepped forward, a smile on his face. "By Kael's surrender, I declare Marco the winner of this rematch," he announced, his voice echoing through the arena.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, congratulating Marco on his victory. Marco's friends, Elara, Griselda, Luna, and Sophia, rushed to his side, beaming with pride.

Lylah smiled, happy to see Marco and Kael developing a bond. She knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Marco grinned, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Kael. "It's not about winning or losing," he said, looking at Kael. "It's about growing stronger together."

Kael nodded in agreement, and the two of them shared a moment of understanding. The crowd continued to cheer, but Marco and Kael knew that their friendship was the real victory.

The ceremony for the tournament results began, and the principal, Principal Fern, a noble fairy of House Luminari, took the stage. She was a dignified figure with delicate wings, her expression strict and authoritative.

"Welcome, students of Ragnarok Academy," she said, her voice firm and commanding. "Today, we gather to celebrate the winners of our recent tournament. And the results are..."

The crowd held its breath as Principal Fern announced the top three winners. "In first place, we have Marco Klaus! In second place, we have Kael lunaris! And in third place, we have Lylah de Roselle!"

The three students walked up to the stage, their faces set with determination, as the crowd erupted into applause. Principal Fern awarded them with trophies and certificates, her eyes scrutinizing each of them.

"By virtue of their outstanding performance, Marco, Kael, and Lylah are hereby declared the Big Three of Ragnarok Academy," Principal Fern declared. "I expect great things from each of you. You will be held to high standards, and I will be watching your progress closely."

The crowd cheered and whistled, congratulating the Big Three on their achievement. Marco, Kael, and Lylah stood tall, their faces set with determination. They knew that being part of the Big Three came with great responsibility, and they were ready to face the challenges ahead.

As they walked off the stage, Principal Fern's strict gaze followed them, her eyes gleaming with expectation. "You three have a lot to live up to," she said, her voice firm. "Don't disappoint me."

As they walked away from the stage, Marco thought to himself, "I've got a lot to live up to now. But with Kael and Lylah by my side, I know we can reach the top together. I'll push myself to the limit, and together, we'll show everyone what we're capable of."

Kael's thoughts echoed Marco's determination. "Being part of the Big Three is just the beginning. I'll continue to train and hone my skills, and together with Marco and Lylah, we'll become an unbeatable team. The sky's the limit for us."

Lylah's thoughts were filled with excitement and anticipation. "We're not just individuals anymore; we're a team. Together, we'll support each other, push each other to be our best selves, and reach heights we never thought possible. I'm ready for this journey, and I know we'll conquer it together."

Each of them was filled with a sense of purpose and determination, ready to face the challenges ahead and strive for as the Big Three of Ragnarok Academy.
