Synopsis
After waking up in the world of ancient Greek mythology, I became a stunningly beautiful young shepherd boy named Eros. Life was carefree, there was always enough to eat and wear, but it was, well... painfully lonely. Until one day, I met her by the river. A girl whose beauty and personality both struck straight into my heart like lightning. We fell in love instantly, sparks flying between us. Then came the twist. After one steamy encounter, the sky suddenly darkened. A majestic figure appeared before me, none other than the Queen of the Gods, Hera herself. “Who are you?” I asked in shock. But the girl in my arms answered before I could finish. “She is Queen Hera,” she said with a mysterious smile. I was stunned. My mind raced. “Then who are you?” I asked nervously. “Are you Hebe, the Goddess of Youth? Or some other goddess?” She shook her head. “No,” she said softly. Her lips curved into a teasing grin. “I’m Zeus, the King of the Gods. So... wanna be my (XXXX)?” ***This is a translation all credits to the author ***Book cover not mine Note: Some readers might feel that “genderbending” contradicts the mythological setting, so here’s my explanation: First of all, Zeus has always been fluid in gender representation as were many of the early Greek deities. Also, the protagonist’s name isn’t random. Eros, the original primordial god of love symbolized the raw force of love and desire that brought life into being. Before Eros existed, the gods reproduced asexually, without love or union. So in this story, we’re following a timeline where Eros was never born, and Gaia modeled Uranus on herself instead. This is that alternate world.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: She Is My Wife

"Darling, did you just say... this world revolves around the sun?"

The girl stood barefoot, toes brushing against the smooth river pebbles. Her golden hair shimmered in the night breeze, glowing like sunlight in the dark.

She wore a gauzy white robe that softly traced her silhouette, her pale, slender arms exposed beneath the moonlight.

Standing behind her, Eros gazed at the scene like it was a painting brought to life. His lips curled into a smile.

"Of course," he said. "Every shining star in the sky is a celestial body, just like the sun."

He raised his hand, pointing up at the stars as he explained,

"See that bright one there? That's Venus—also called the Morning Star. It's a little smaller than the planet beneath our feet."

"Our world and Venus are both bound by the sun's gravity. We're just one of many."

Eros spoke with passionate conviction, eyes sparkling as he shared his knowledge.

The girl simply watched him with a gentle smile, listening quietly to his seemingly absurd theories—ideas that felt more like dreams than science.

After going on for quite some time, Eros finally realized he had been rambling. Embarrassed, he scratched his cheek and said,

"Ah, sorry, I must sound crazy. You probably think all of this is just nonsense, right?"

"No," the girl said softly.

Her beauty was so flawless it nearly took his breath away. She reached out and gently held his hand, her eyes filled with tenderness.

"If it's you, Eros… I believe everything you say."

"Dione…" Eros whispered.

He clasped her hand in return, joy lighting up his handsome face.

Finally, finally—someone who truly understood him!

You have no idea what he'd been through.

His name was Eros, a classic case of an enthusiastic isekai traveler.

But when he first opened his eyes in this new world, he almost bit off his own tongue in shock.

Before him stood a pair of barely clothed, fur-wearing savages—his parents.

It was a true hell-difficulty survival start. Not even dogs would want this spawn point.

He thought, "If you're gonna send me to another world, at least let me begin in some sort of civilized society!"

Instead, he got thrown into prehistory like the literal dawn of life.

And it wasn't just a wilderness survival scenario; he hadn't even reached adulthood yet!

Starting off as a juvenile proto-human with no basic tools or clothes… how was he supposed to play this game?

And when he discovered he didn't even have certain anatomical features, despair nearly overwhelmed him.

Fifteen years later… nothing. He'd already accepted his fate.

Fortunately, the heavens didn't abandon him. Somehow, he survived his early years.

Because this world's natural resources were beyond imagination.

Bushes full of sweet, juicy berries.

Fruit so heavy it bent the branches.

Fat fish leaping from crystal-clear streams.

Even seeds tossed carelessly into the soil would grow into golden fields of wheat.

What he thought would be "hell mode" turned out to be easy, so easy, even an idiot could survive.

As long as you had a mouth, you wouldn't starve.

Eros thought he'd live out his days peacefully, if a bit bored.

Then one day, some tribesmen offered him raw, bloody meat.

He declined, of course. Then, relying on the fading knowledge in his head, he managed to start a fire with friction and roasted his first meal in this world.

At the time, he thought he had ignited the very spark of human civilization.

A pioneer! The beginning of an enlightened era!

But instead of being revered, the others just stared at him in horror… and promptly banished him from the tribe.

"Wait, what?!"

Shouldn't this be the part where the primitive people worship him like a god?

Wasn't he the main character?

Eros stared at his reflection in the river.

No way, he was this good-looking. Even if he wasn't the protagonist, he had to at least be a major character, right?

Well, it wasn't all bad.

After leaving the tribe, he lived alone, steadily improving his lifestyle through trial and error.

He built a house.

Tamed a flock of sheep.

Planted fruit and grains.

His life gradually became quite comfortable.

But with comfort came another problem—restlessness.

What he needed… was a beautiful girl.

A normal one. Someone who could think for herself.

Someone who could soothe his lonely heart and fill the emptiness within.

Anything would do. Just give him a girl!

And just when Eros thought he'd die alone, she appeared.

Dione.

She was elegant and stunning. Her every gesture and word set her apart from the primitives he'd known.

More than that, she listened to him.

She didn't laugh at his so-called "nonsense," even when he talked about stars, gravity, orbits—all things no one in this age could understand.

With her intelligence, kindness, and—let's be honest—her flawless figure that perfectly matched his preferences…

How could he not fall for her?

Their relationship escalated quickly. Love burned bright and fast, and they boldly confessed their feelings for each other.

Now, he was just one step away from completing his perfect life.

The two of them held hands tightly. The moon's reflection rippled on the water's surface.

Even the dazzling starlight felt dim compared to the glow on her face.

It was silent all around them. The moment was perfect.

There would never be a better time.

Eros opened his mouth to speak—to finally say the words.

But before he could, the girl leaned in with a teasing smile—and kissed him.

Her lips, soft and fragrant like spring blossoms, pressed against his. She pushed him down by the riverside.

Their breath tangled, her body pressed close to his.

And to Eros' surprise… she was completely in control.

Wait, what? Why does it feel like she has experience?

No, no, it's probably just my imagination—

Just as he was about to roll over and take charge, a thunderbolt split the sky.

A deafening clap of thunder exploded overhead, shaking the night.

Through the blinding flash, a figure appeared.

She wore robes similar to Dione's white and flowing, but her figure was even taller, more commanding.

A crown of braided blossoms adorned her head. Gem-encrusted bracelets circled her wrists and ankles.

Her golden sandals looked like they had been crafted by the gods themselves.

A sheer veil covered her face, but even through the shadows, her eyes burned with fury.

She radiated noble grace, but in that moment, she looked more like… a jealous wife?

Her black eyes locked onto Eros with barely restrained rage, and the oppressive aura she emitted made him freeze in place.

Completely thrown off, Eros stared at the stunning new arrival.

"…Who are you?" he asked, dazed.

The girl in his arms, Dione calmly answered for him.

"She's my wife."
