A Glimpse into the Age of Wonders
The world of Nuvarel is a realm born not only of stars and soil, but of divinity and memory. It is a land steeped in ancient magic, where the slumber of gods has not dulled their influence. Eight billion years have passed since the beginning, and yet the echoes of creation still shape every blade of grass, every breath of wind, and every soul that walks upon this world.
Across its surface stretch floating isles, crystalline forests, sky-splitting mountains, and oceans so deep their floors remain untouched by time. Though civilization thrives, Nuvarel remains a dangerous and mysterious place, its wonders balanced by ancient threats and forgotten evils.
The Divine Gifts
Among all miracles left behind by the gods, none are as awe-inspiring or as feared as the Divine Gifts.
Present in the blood and spirit of humanity since the earliest eras, a Divine Gift is an innate supernatural power that manifests from birth. Some are subtle: the ability to breathe underwater or never get lost. Others are reality-shattering: controlling time, resurrecting the dead, or bending space.
It is believed each Gift is a fragment of divine will—a whisper from the Twelve Primordial Gods passed into mortal form. The nature, power, and rarity of each Gift varies wildly, but one truth remains:
Only humans are born with them.
This unique trait has allowed humanity to survive despite being physically weaker than other dominant races.
The Mortal Races of Nuvarel
Though humans are prominent, they are not alone. Nuvarel teems with ancient races, each one born of different elemental truths and divine echoes. Some are allies. Others are predators. All are powerful in their own right.

•Gravity, space, and destiny bend to them.
•But their powers shorten their existence unless bound to an anchor.
Humanity's Struggle
Though they alone possess the Divine Gifts, humans are far from the strongest. To survive, they built massive strongholds protected by magic, stone, and the desperate ingenuity of mortals.
Many of these cities dot the landscape, but none are as feared or as revered as Valeria.
A floating kingdom built upon the remains of an ancient god, Valeria is humanity's greatest sanctuary and strongest beacon. Its founding, however, is shrouded in mystery.
