Date: 11 Days Before The Final Exam
Location: Study Hall of the Damned
---
You know it's a cursed day when the first thing you hear is:
> "Commander. Gideon's shield is stuck in the ceiling."
I looked up.
It was.
Why?
Because Leander told him a mana-resistant ceiling mount would "help improve his block angle."
Anna backed him up.
Riya pretended not to hear.
---
Elric arrived with tea again.
This time it was calming tea mixed with some experimental herbs from the infirmary garden.
The result?
We don't talk about what happened to the cat that wandered in.
All we know is it left through the wall.
---
Alice tried to study quietly.
Tried.
Until Leander said:
> "Alice, if you drink any more of Commander's blood you're going to start dreaming of him shirtless."
She didn't blush.
She smiled.
And that scared everyone more.
Even Lily.
---
Then there was the incident with the hair enchantment.
Anna wanted to make her hair fluffier — she called it Battle-Mode Volume.
She used a wind spell.
Leander "helped" with a heat rune.
Gideon tried to hold the mirror.
What happened was…
A mana-powered fireball hairdryer.
The wall behind them is gone now.
Riya patched it using ice.
The temperature in the room dropped by 12 degrees.
Alice didn't mind.
---
Later, we tried to study again.
I say "tried."
Because Leander found my old notes — the ones I wrote when I still had no clue about magic circles.
He held them up and read aloud:
> "Rule #1: If the magic circle is glowing red, it's fine. If it's singing, run."
Everyone laughed.
Even Gideon.
Even me.
---
Eventually we managed an hour of real study.
Just one hour.
Lily explained summoning theory to Anna.
Elric showed Riya how to calculate mana drain curves.
Leander sat in a corner with a dunce hat Anna made him. He wore it proudly.
Alice… Alice kept her gaze on me.
"I'll bite you again if you fall asleep."
Encouragement comes in many forms.
---
As we packed up, Anna declared:
> "This place isn't a study hall anymore. It's a survival zone."
Leander raised a hand.
> "I say we change the name to: The Blessed Battlefield of Brain Cells."
I vetoed it.
So did everyone else.
---
[Final Note]
Today we laughed too much, broke two chairs, lost a shield, and may have melted the carpet. And scolded by Professor past by.
But we learned.
Somehow.
Even if my team is insane…
They're my chaos.
And I wouldn't trade them for anything.
