Chapter 4 - BLOOD AND SILENCE II

Like Peter and my brother did years back, I didn't break into their seating room.

I walked in with the boys—no noise, no panic.

Luckily, they were all in the living room.

Everyone except the triplets.

I took Peter's wife to their room, and she picked up the babies.

I didn't ask them to lie down.

I told them to sit.

"Who are you people, and what do you want?" Peter asked, trembling.

"You are right to tremble before me," I replied, slowly removing my mask.

His eyes widened.

"My Uber girl... you came back to rob me? If it's money you want, I can give you any amount—please," Peter begged pathetically.

I laughed—a cold, bitter laugh—and stepped closer to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson to take a better look at them.

"Vivian?" Mr. Johnson called my name.

"Oh, so you recognized me," I said, smiling.

When Peter heard my name, he froze. He looked scared. The boys and I laughed at him. The babies woke up crying because we laughed too loud. I ordered Peter's wife to shut them up or else I would shoot them.

Mrs. Johnson asked, "Why are you doing this?"

I looked at her and asked, "You really don't know?? Or you are just being a hypocrite old woman!!"

"Vivian, please forgive Peter. He acted foolishly. Forgive him for the sake of his innocent children and wife," Mr. Johnson pleaded.

Peter, who lost his voice after hearing my name, said, "Please, Vivi…"

But I shut him up. "Shut up, you fool!! I will come to you soon, so wait for your turn."

"Pastor Johnson, you said I should forgive him for the sake of his innocent family. Wasn't I innocent when he tried to assault me sexually and killed my family??!!??"

"Vivian, I fired the gun by mista…" Peter interrupted me.

"I said SHUT THE F**K UP!!" I shouted at him, slapping him.

Then I turned to his parents.

"You were also involved in it, People of God," I said sarcastically. "You knew what your son did but you covered up for him and sent him outside the country."

I turned to Peter. "You said it was a mistake. Let's say shooting my mom was a mistake. What about my dad and brother?? Who makes the same mistake three times??"

Peter started sweating under AC.

I turned to his wife. "Madam, whatever happens here tonight, blame your husband and his family. I know you are innocent — so was my family."

Peter was pleading, but it fell on deaf ears.

"Now we are all going to play a game, and it is compulsory."

I turned to Peter and asked him, "Choose between your mom and dad, who should stay alive."

He started pleading but I was done listening.

"Death, if he did not give an answer within 5 seconds, shoot both his parents and children."

Peter quickly gave an answer — he chose to keep his dad alive.

I instructed Death to shoot his mom.

As Peter saw his mom in a pool of blood, he shouted.

I gave him a hard slap and asked him to shut it.

The guns were silent guns, so no one could hear any gunshots — not even the neighbours.

I didn't give him time to process the death of his mom.

I asked his dad to choose between his daughter-in-law and one of his grandsons.

He pleaded and refused to choose, so I shot him myself (Peter's dad).

I made it so unpredictable to them.

I then asked Peter's wife to choose between her husband and one of her triplets.

She was taking time and I shouted,

"WOMAN, MAKE IT FAST, I DON'T HAVE ALL NIGHT TO WASTE!!"

She chose to let her husband die.

That's what Peter asked her to say.

Maybe he was thinking I might not kill his children after he died.

But I shot one of the triplets.

I didn't feel any guilt, remembering the night I watched my whole family killed.

I buried them and suffered after that..
