Alyssa and Alynna, beaming with pride, walked hand-in-hand with Adam through the bustling marketplace, eager to show off their new "big brother" to everyone. They dragged him to every toy and clothing stall, excitedly pointing out everything they desired. Their parents, Albert and Helena, followed behind, their faces radiating a quiet joy at the family they now had.
As the piles of toys and clothes grew, Adam revealed his unique ability, making everything vanish into his dimension. Both parents and twin sisters stared in open-mouthed amazement. "Don't worry about baggage," Adam chuckled, "I can store more than this whole kingdom."
"You're the best brother anyone could ask for!" Alyssa shouted, launching herself at him. Alynna, ever the cheeky one, chimed in, "You're my only big brother," a cunning smirk playing on her lips as she pointed to a grand clothing shop filled with princess-worthy dresses.
Their parents, aghast at the prices, warned Adam not to spoil her. "It's very expensive!" Helena exclaimed. Adam simply smiled, placing a hand on Alynna's head. "I would give them anything they want. They're my precious sisters I never had."
Albert chuckled, nudging Helena. "Alynna surely takes after you." Helena retorted good-naturedly, "It's fine, she's adorable, just like her mother." Their playful teasing, more intense and affectionate than in their past lives, made Adam feel slightly awkward, but deeply happy.
"The mana doesn't affect their heads, Adam," Lyra snorted in his mind. "It's just them being that way."
"You just snorted?" Adam whispered back, blushing. "Are you even an AI?"
"We are capable of learning and mimicking human emotions, understanding jokes, and even the intricacies of lovemaking," Lyra replied, her tone perfectly flat. "If I had a body, I could certainly teach you."
Adam's jaw dropped. "What the hell is going on?!"
Alynna whispered to Alyssa, "See? He's a weird one." Alyssa merely rolled her eyes at Adam's dramatic meltdown.
The Chef's Masterpiece and Royal Praise
Once things simmered down, Adam led his family to the restaurant. As soon as the owner spotted Adam, a grand welcome erupted. The entire restaurant staff bowed, and the owner personally ushered them to a VIP seat, much to the wonder of the other patrons, who speculated about the identity of this seemingly noble family.
Adam, embarrassed by the fuss, pulled the owner upright. "Please, don't embarrass me too much."
The owner chuckled, understanding, and ensured Adam's family received the utmost care and attention. Adam told his family they could order anything and as much as they wanted. Their eyes wide with delight, they eagerly ordered everything they'd ever dreamed of tasting. Dishes arrived with urgency, and the family feasted on the magnificent cuisine. The owner checked on their satisfaction, receiving synchronized nods of approval.
Then, the chef, flushed with passion and sweat, rushed over to their table. Tears streamed down his face as he watched them enjoy his creations. Alynna, ever direct, asked Adam, "Why is that old creepy guy crying while watching us eat?"
Adam explained, "He loves to watch people enjoy his food. So, enjoy it to the fullest."
Adam then had a private word with the owner and chef, thanking them for the warm welcome. They were overwhelmed with gratitude, revealing that word had spread like wildfire about their restaurant having the freshest meat. Royalty and nobles had tasted the leftovers from Adam's supplied creatures and had, astonishingly, acknowledged their quality. They now had orders to cater a royal banquet. The chef, almost ecstatic, explained that with such fresh ingredients, he could elevate his cuisine to the highest standard, something he'd never imagined possible. Both men bowed deeply, professing to be forever indebted to him.
Adam was surprised by the news but also grew wary. Royal investigation into their supply could lead to unwanted scrutiny for himself and his family. He sternly advised them not to disclose anything about how they acquired the live creatures and to keep his identity as the supplier anonymous. Both agreed without hesitation.
The chef prepared more dishes for the family to take home, and despite Adam's attempts to pay, both the owner and chef firmly refused, insisting that his continued supply was more than enough. Adam bid them farewell, his parents beaming with pride at his unexpected reputation, and the twins feeling like he was the coolest brother ever.
A New Home
"Ready to see the houses and land?" Adam asked his family.
As they walked behind the restaurant, Adam teleported them. With a flash, they stood before a magnificent mansion, sprawling across a vast, fertile plot of land. Lyra had chosen this location specifically for its ideal setting and excellent soil.
"Whoa!" the family shouted in unison, their voices echoing with awe. Not just at the grand exterior and lavish interior of the mansion, but at the sheer impossible feat of being instantly transported there.
