Agares chuckled slightly. There was a reason why he laughed at the man, and it wasn't to mock his profession.
No, Agares simply found it strange—he had never seen a merchant inside a dungeon before.
Everyone knew that dungeons were dangerous and life-threatening places. Yet the man in the black cloak, who kept smiling at Agares, didn't seem to feel threatened at all.
Agares stepped closer to the merchant, who kept looking at him with warm friendliness. Just as he stood directly in front of him, Agares felt something odd.
"Wait."
He reached out and placed a hand on the merchant's shoulder. To his shock, his hand passed straight through the man's body, making Agares widen his eyes in surprise.
"You're... not human?"
"Correct, sir. I am not a human, but a holographic system manifestation of this dungeon," the man replied. His name was Li.
