As agreed, Milenia took full advantage of the moment to taste every dish on the menu.
One by one, the plates were brought up from the ground floor to the second, stacking up to a total of twelve dishes before her.
Every kind of food was laid out—meat dishes, fish, vegetables, and desserts. Milenia loved them all, and the sight made Aoi drool.
"That must be delicious," said Aoi, startling both Milenia and Agares.
"Wait! You can talk?" Milenia asked, shocked.
Aoi reflexively covered her mouth and glanced sideways at Agares. He let out a sigh and explained that Aoi was different from most foxes.
"So your name is Aoi? Come here, big sis has something for you."
Milenia sliced off a piece of chicken and held it out. Aoi didn't respond right away—she waited for Agares's approval.
When he gave a small nod, she smiled, sniffed the meat, and took a bite. It was tasty and perfectly suited to her taste. Aoi and Milenia began eating together at the table.
