Chapter 11 - Lonely Influence - Chapter 11: The Forgotten Memories in the Surrounding Bodies of Water

"No! I'm sorry, I-i'm sorry…! I didn't mean it…!"

Said by a boy of seven years. Running away to whatever is in his horizons. Tears fell from his eyes as he ran as fast as he could, with blood in his hands, and people… that wanted him dead.

"Catch him!"

"Off with his head!!"

"Don't let him get away! He just killed someone!"

"Child or not, he is a monster!"

But due to the rainy outpost of the weather, and grey clouds covering the shining sunlight of the sun that gives heat and life, none could tell the difference between tears and pure rain drops. But who cares? No one wants to see the vulnerability of a monster. Because to them, a monster is a monster. And to them, a monster doesn't deserve a single tear of consideration.

He ran and ran, fast and faster, desperate and panicked, all out of fear. When he believed that it was over for him, he looked back and saw that they were gone. But before he knew it, he fell down to a public staircase that was in front of him, out of his sight. Each loud thud of him falling down the staircase, reminded him of how many times he heard the sounds of 'fireworks' that slaughtered everyone he loved… when all he wanted was to simply see one for the first time in his life.

And when the falling was finally over, he laid down there, gasping for air as he slowly stood up and coughed. His vision was blurry, as if he was on the verge of death. And to what he has heard, death is a wish that everyone wants granted… Soon enough, the blurriness of his vision cleared slightly and he noticed a small dark alley by his left. He walked into the dark alley and sat down with his back against the wall, hugging his legs as sobbed softly while hoping that no one would come to pursue him ever again…

Hours passed by as he had gone to sleep. Sunlight hit his body, but he didn't mind. After all, he had it worse. Till suddenly, he was woken by someone who was trying to pull him away from the dark alley. He thought that this was another one of those people, but to his surprise…

It was just a little girl, like him. With long blonde hair that seemed to glow in the rays of sunlight. She had a bright, cheerful smile on her face as she extended her hand to him and shouted…

"Hii! Let's be friends!"

"Huh, weird dream you got there."

Wyne says while walking alongside Trizha and Margaret, as Trizha covers her forehead with her hand, groaning slightly, dizziness almost overwhelming her consciousness.

Trizha: "Yeah… I feel like I'm having a headache… my knuckles hurt as well."

Margaret: "Why did you even try to deliver a punch in your dream? Were you trying to break someone's nose and teeth?"

Trizha: "Yeah– wait no! That's disgusting and disturbing!"

Wyne: "Hahaha, whatever was in your dream, it definitely sounds dangerous if you tried to punch someone. Lucky for you, Miss Yuri had a chest plate for protection."

Trizha: "Yep. Ahhh… my knuckles hurt alot…"

Trizha groans as she rubs her right knuckles, sighing. Wyne looks over to her in concern, crossing her arms.

Wyne: "We definitely should bring you to a clinic… that chest plate was definitely thick. Not to mention you landed a powerful hit!"

Trizha: "But this is an Aquarium Tour! I've been secretly excited and cheering for it. I can't just leave when something exciting is in front of me!"

Wyne: "Trizha, don't be reckless now… anytime and that injury could be fatal before you know it."

Margaret: "She's right, Trizha. It could be fatal and seriously needs medical attention…"

Trizha stays silent for a few moments, looking back and forth from Wyne to Margaret, making her decision before finally sighing deeply.

Trizha: "Fine… I'll go to the clinic."

Trizha says with a depressing face, turning around as Wyne pats her back to comfort her.

Wyne: "Don't worry, we can try again next year… even though there really is no hotel event for next year."

Wyne then remembers something and turns around to look at Margaret, looking away from Trizha.

Wyne: "Hey Margaret, did you bring the camera? So that we can take pictures of some fishes."

Margaret: "Yeah… I'm pretty sure I brought it with me before leaving our room…"

Margaret says softly as she goes for her purse and looks for the camera, while Wyne keeps her eyes on Margaret. After a few seconds later, Margaret finally takes out her camera.

Margaret: "Finally…!"

Wyne: "Just how crowded is that purse of yours… you shouldn't be taking lots of unnecessary stuff you know. Right, Trizha?"

Wyne says, waiting for Trizha to respond. That was the moment she realizes that she doesn't feel her presence anymore.

Wyne: "She's not behind me, is she?"

Margaret shakes her head in disagreement.

Wyne: "Oh for the love and peaceful wisdom given by Buddha himself… may he forgive that reckless decision making idiot…"

Wyne says as she groans and pinches her forehead in frustration, before turning back to Margaret.

Wyne: "You can go alone by yourself, right? For a while that is."

Margaret: "Depends, yeah… but what are you planning?"

Wyne: "I'm gonna go find Trizha. Let's meet up later."

Wyne then walks off, going to look for Trizha while Margaret blends with the crowd of students entering the Aquarium. At the same time, Nomoro is seen following where Trizha left, looking around to keep track of her.

Nomoro, in his thoughts: "She's hurt…"

Nomoro then goes on his way, alone, blending into the crowd as well.

.

.

.

As everyone enters the Aquarium, some teachers are guiding and taking the lead of some groups of students. And when they do, they widen up their eyes in awe at the sight in front of them; a massively wide five kilometer, Aquarium tunnel leading to the main exit of the Aquarium, with the walls and ceilings made out of transparent glass that allows anyone to witness several types of fishes that swims around outside the glass.

Yuri's assistant then appears in front of the entire crowd and takes out a microphone to speak out loud, as the main lead and tour guide of the Aquarium.

The Assistant: "Welcome to the… "Ultra Massive Calypso Aquarium"… gosh, why did she name it like that…"

The Assistant says in irritation and embarrassment, trying to hide their frustration towards Yuri by sighing softly then pinching her forehead, before facing the crowd.

The Assistant: "Anyways, everyone! Follow me. Don't walk too fast, this Aquarium is only five kilometers."

Everyone then starts to follow The Assistant, slowly but surely, while they explain the contexts and deep meanings behind the tunnel-like Aquarium, especially mentioning how Yuri made it by herself. Which is definitely not true if you looked closely at the Assistant's face.

Some of the students are taking pictures, admiring the view and structures, some making random fish movements for fun, and some just reluctantly blending in for the fun experience.

Meanwhile, Trizha is walking around, looking up the ceiling to watch any fish swim around their environment. Whilst Nomoro, from the distance, is looking into his bag if there are any bandages if he somewhat encounters Trizha.

Trizha: "Wow…"

———

Nomoro: "It should be just around here…"

Suddenly, Nomoro accidentally bumps into a couple, as the guy turns around and glares at Nomoro in anger.

The guy: "Huh? You got a problem with me, ya?"

A sweat falls down from Nomoro's face as he looks at the guy, a look of vulnerability can be seen in his face.

Nomoro: "N-no… I'm sorry–"

The guy: "Hold up a second… ain't you that demon guy everyone has been talking about? Damn, then I might be your next victim."

The guy then faces Nomoro intimidatingly, as Nomoro takes a step back, lifting his hands up, trying to defuse the situation, until The guy's girlfriend wrapped her arms around him and pulled him away.

The guy's gf: "Geez, always picking a fight with someone… Stop wasting time!"

The guy: "Yeah, yeah. I'll be there. Let me just mock this jerk for a second."

The guy then mocks Nomoro, smirking while turning around and walking off with his girlfriend. Nomoro calmed down for a second, sighing softly.

Nomoro, in his thoughts: "Can't blame him…"

Nomoro takes a second to calm down, before continuing to walk, but not until he suddenly gets purposely and intentionally bumped hard by other students who recognized him, looking down on him with glares he doesn't deserve.

And yet, he just stood there, head lifted down. With none to help, he is… alone in this one.

"I can't… blame them."

———

At the same time, Trizha walks around the Aquarium, her long blonde hair flowing gently in the air like a golden trail of sunlight. With her hand in her back, she covers the knuckle Injury in her right hand using her left hand, walking around and admiring the sight.

"Hey! It's Trizha!"

A group of fangirls approaches Trizha, startling her as they start taking out their phones to take selfies. Trizha smiles cheerfully while doing so, but for some reason… she felt uncomfortable for the first time, a feeling she never expected happening especially when taking photos with her fans.

Trizha, in her thoughts: "Oh yeah… it's been a while since I've taken videos…"

Trizha thinks, her cheerful smile slowly fading after taking a selfie. The group of girls then turns to Trizha, their smiles of excitement never leaving their faces.

"Hey Trizha! When are you going to upload your next video?"

"Yeah, the last video you posted was a live video… but it was cut mid-live?"

"That was weird, is there something wrong?"

Trizha looks at the group with a nervous expression, smiling while slightly sweating, shaking her head.

Trizha: "Uhm, no! Yes, I'm totally fine. Thank you all for comforting me, you're all soooo sweet!"

The group of fangirls melt in happiness as they all hug Trizha warmly, before walking off and waving goodbyes for Trizha, feeling connected to her well-being.

Trizha, in her thoughts: "It feels like I'm slowly losing my passion…"

.

.

.

Both Trizha and Nomoro go their 'own' separate ways.

Trizha blends with the crowd, continuing to admire the view. While Nomoro avoids the crowd itself, focusing only on himself.

Nomoro doesn't respond to anyone, after all, no one responds to him. While Trizha would respond to anyone, after all, everyone responds to her.

Trizha connects to everyone, while Nomoro isolates himself.

The only similarity between the two is the goal to apologize to each other.

.

.

.

.

.

And so, both stopped their tracks. One stops to look up, and one stops to look down. And One watches the far, and One watches at the edge.

.

.

.

.

.

Trizha, with her head lifted up, admires the seafolk above.

Trizha: "Whoa… so many of them…"

The sea of fishes that swam around the tunnel of glass made to entertain and bring excitement for those inside.

And before she knew it, a massive blue whale passed through the aquarium tunnel. The loudness of its deep humming causes everyone to look up in awe and amazement. Its size covers the sunlight, slowly darkening the entirety of the Aquarium tunnel.

Trizha stared at the blue whale for a few seconds, until suddenly, her right hand's knuckles started to hurt again.

Trizha: "Ouch… it's hurting again."

Trizha lifted her right hand, staring at her knuckles for a moment before turning it upside down to look into her palms, sighing softly. All of the sudden, a little boy's hand took her extended hand and it disappeared in an instant, startling Trizha as she looked away from her hand, but saw no one nearby except the surrounding students.

.

.

But besides the surrounding students… she notices Nomoro standing at the edge, facing against the glass wall and staring at fishes, admiring them all by himself. And so, she started to feel connected to his loneliness.

.

.

To everyone else, the world is loud. But to Trizha, Nomoro's world was silent. It was so quiet, so silent... that all he could hear was the words that hurt him. Screams that were taken away from him. And the brightest smiles he used to make.

Each of those words hit a blow to Trizha the more she stays connected to him. She started to slowly understand his feelings. And the more… she became ready to end their week-long conflict.

And so, Trizha finally took a step forward towards Nomoro, her eyes locked into him, approaching with a hidden sense of determination to bring an end to their conflict. And as she does, the body of the blue whale releases a fraction of sunlight from above, landing into Trizha's blonde hair that causes it to 'glow and shine' in the dark. And as everyone bears witness, all eyes are now on her. They were all connected to her, but she was connected to him, and him only.

There is no selfishness here. Right now, the goal is to end it all. And so, she ran. Towards the man she hurt, the man she had misunderstood, and the man… she is fated to be with. And the closer she was, the more she extended the hand that was already taken by the same man she ran to.

And then… she shouted to call for his name.

.

.

.

.

.

"Narasao…!"

.

.

.

.

.

Suddenly, she shouted a name she used to know to the man she knew now. Which is weird, because that isn't his name… or was it?

———

But as she shouted for his name, she tripped on her feet, her body falling towards the man in front of her eyes. In situations like this, it would end up embarrassing… but her hand was extended. And so, he takes her hand–

And so, a person appears between both Trizha and Nomoro, and takes Trizha's hand and catches her, saving her from falling face first into the ground. At the same time, the blue whale had left and the sunlight had returned. And to everyone's surprise, all of them gasp in shock and surprise as a mysterious handsome young man saved their beloved Trizha from the demon Nomoro Ketatsuki himself, holding her in his arms.

At the same time, Wyne struggles to make way in the crowd, pushing and pulling away a few people until she gets a view. And to her surprise, what catched and saved Trizha was a tall, handsome young man with bushy red hair and the sides of which are shaven and black in colour, wears a black shirt with red underneath, and red pupils eyes that seem to glow.

Wyne: "Who is that guy…?"

Meanwhile, Trizha opens her eyes and looks around, before turning to the person above her.

Trizha: "Wha– who are–"

The man in red shuts her off by placing a hand on her lips, smirking as he looks down to her with red eyes in sight.

???: "Shhh… don't worry. There is none to panic about, is there? You're safe in my arms now that I am here, sweetheart…"

Suddenly, the man in red kisses Trizha in the forehead, gently and intimately, causing the crowd to stare at shock and some of the girls squirming in excitement, knowing that Trizha herself, is kissed by a man of her league.

Whilst for Trizha, she was just about to protest against the man in red for kissing her, until she unexpectedly felt a fang of 'love' into her, leaving her speechless. She doesn't know why, this isn't her… at the same time, Wyne finally found Trizha but she stared at the two in the distance in shock and disgust.

Wyne: "What the hell is that guy doing?!?!"

Wyne then tries to move away from the crowd to stop whatever that young man is doing to Trizha, but not until a group of girls stop her from going any further, glaring down on her.

Girl 1: "Stay there! Don't be jealous! Right now, Trizha is having the moment of her life!"

Girl 2: "Yeah! You don't deserve to interfere with her newborn lovelife!"

Wyne stared at the group of girls in disbelief and confusion, taking a step back and trying to explain herself.

Wyne: "The heck are you guys saying? I'm not here for that stupid nonsense!"

Girl 3: "Shut up!"

The group of girls then holds Wyne off, trying to keep her from moving away and 'interfere' with Trizha and that man's moment.

Wyne: "Let me go…!"

.

.

At the same time, Zackier gazes at Nomoro first, before helping Trizha stand up as he does the same for himself, holding her close, before turning to the crowd with a wide grin on his face.

Zackier: "Greetings, everyone. I am Zackier Morkator. And while some of you are definitely jealous of my actions for making the first move before the rest of you did the same, how about a little… praise for making an 'achievement'?"

Zackier says arrogantly, forcefully pressing Trizha closer to him, using her inability to move away from out of love as a sign of his proof of achieving a rare achievement.

"Yeah! We don't mind! Congratulations!"

"He's right, you two deserve the best!"

"We'll support you two, and we will all do it starting day one!"

"I hope you two don't break up!"

"We're gonna lie, you two fit for each other! Handsome and Beautiful!"

All and many more chattering support for both Trizha and Zackier. And they kept going and going, clapping their hands loudly and even whistling in acceptance, their entire focus on the Aquarium Tour has been completely replaced with the drama happening currently. But all of it came to an end when a familiar voice, known and hated by all, started to speak up.

.

.

.

"Let her go."

.

.

.

That deep, demanding tone caused silence to occur in an instant, as all eyes turned to the demon himself, Nomoro Ketatsuki. When everyone else glared at him, he glared at Zackier alone.

Zackier turned to Nomoro with an emotionless expression, his smile faded instantly.

Zackier: "What did you say?"

Nomoro: "I said to let her go."

Zackier: "And why is that? Am I not allowed to keep the person I love into my arms–"

Nomoro: "A person like you doesn't deserve someone like her. And she doesn't deserve someone like you."

Nomoro says in a deep, cold tone, his glare never leaving Zackier's as both eyes stare at one another. He can tell that Nomoro means no forgiveness this time.

.

.

.

Suddenly… Everyone laughed at Nomoro's remark at Zackier, while Zackier himself is laughing softly at Nomoro.

Zackier: "Oh thanks goodness… for the love of the devil! You should be honored, Nomoro Ketatsuki. How brave of you…"

A cold and sinister smile then forms in Zackier's face as he looks down on Nomoro, saying.

Zackier: "Brave of you… to talk about YOURSELF."

Everyone laughs even louder on Nomoro after Zackier. All except both Wyne and Margaret, who are both watching from afar, unable to do anything because of the crowd. Meanwhile… Nomoro clenched his fists as he glared against Zackier even harder, about to do something unforgivable, but not until Zackier himself spoke out loud.

Zackier: "Don't even think about it, demon. Or should I say… I dare you."

Zackier then grins as he spreads his arms around, pointing at everyone surrounding the two of those men.

Zackier: "As you can see, the world is your enemy. But don't worry, I am Trizha's Prince charming…"

Zackier holds Trizha close again, her speechless expression is unmoving.

Zacker: "And you're the monster. Therefore, it is my responsibility to take you out. So… just begone already."

Nomoro stares at Zackier for a few moments, gritting his teeth before turning around and storming off, as people around him give him his way while making fun of him from his back. Zackier stared at Nomoro as he watched him slowly disappear from his sight.

"9 years of waiting…"

.

.

.

"Let the fun begin."
