Let's go back in time a little.
"He actually has such a tough body! I didn't believe it when they told me before." Inside a room within a research institute, a group of scientists in white coats marveled. "He's almost as tough as that Lunarian kid." They were laboriously drilling into the arm of the man tied to the operating table.
"No! We can't drill through at all. How about we ask Vice Admiral Garp to help again like last time! Without Haki, it's too difficult to penetrate his skin!"
"Why not just change the location? Not all places are that tough. Take his pants off."
"You scum, stop right there!" The man, Roa's big brother Kaido, was bound to a huge specialized metal operating table, his hands and feet restrained by high-purity seastone shackles, rendering even a monster like him weak and powerless. All he could do was curse. "How far do you intend to humiliate me! If you don't stop, when I break free, I'll definitely scatter your bones and ashes!!"
"Break free? That day will never come, Kaido." A scientist with a mask covering his face contemptuously patted Kaido's cheek. "Vice Admiral Garp is stationed here. Once all your data is collected, you'll be thrown into Impel Down to await your death. Do you know Impel Down? An ironclad fortress from which no one has ever escaped in over seven hundred years."
Kaido hadn't even had time to say anything when, "Oh! The needle finally went in!" Kaido's face instantly flushed red, his teeth almost shattering. "Bastards!!!"
Roa, you stinking brat, hurry up and get here! I'm suffering the ultimate humiliation!
He had calculated everything from the start. He was still too weak to defeat that old mad dog Garp right now. By the time he realized Garp was attacking, it was too late to run. So, he simply had his subordinates contact that brat Roa. Once that brat arrived, everything would be fine. With him and himself working together, even that old mad dog wasn't unbeatable!
But, he hadn't expected to suffer this kind of indignity after being captured! These scientists, at this moment, were more terrifying to Kaido than ten thousand Garps!
In another room of this research institute.
The man known as a hero was crunching on rice crackers, while vaguely speaking to his superior through a nearby Den Den Mushi. "It's been how many days now, Brother Sengoku? That brat still hasn't shown up. How much longer do I have to wait?"
"It seems their relationship isn't as close as we imagined," the voice of the Fleet Admiral came from the Den Den Mushi. "Once the research on Kaido is complete, bring that guy back first. As for that brat, we'll talk about him when we get news."
"Wahahahahaha, finally a vacation?" The Marine Hero laughed heartily. "But the Celestial Dragons are too petty. Didn't that brat just kill a few Celestial Dragons?"
"Garp!" The Fleet Admiral's voice suddenly sharpened. "That's not for you to say!"
"Haha, oh right, I shouldn't say that. Forget it!" Garp the Fist continued his playful demeanor.
"Garp, you must remember, the Marines are first and foremost an army!" The Fleet Admiral earnestly lectured. "Our responsibility is to pledge allegiance to the government, and then to protect the affiliated nations!"
Vice Admiral Garp merely laughed loudly, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
"Alright, Brother Sengoku, tell that Sengoku guy to leave all the rice crackers for me—" The hero's laughter abruptly ceased, and he instantly looked up.
"Garp?" The Fleet Admiral on the other end of the Den Den Mushi sensed something was wrong.
"He's here! Don't know if it's that brat yet! We'll talk later, Brother Sengoku!" Garp casually hung up the phone, rolled up his sleeves, and prepared to attack.
But.
Boom!!
The research institute suddenly began to shake. The ceiling violently swayed, and cracks instantly appeared on the walls.
"What?" Even the Marine Hero was a little bewildered. An earthquake? And precisely at this moment?
At the same time, in the laboratory where Kaido was.
"Uroguroro! Finally here! Prepare to die, you scum!"
Roa plummeted from the sky, already transformed into his hybrid form, black wings retracted, descending like a falling meteor. As he lowered his altitude, his ability activated! The island below suddenly began to shake. Mountains swayed like jelly, and the ground undulated like water.
An earthquake had arrived! If it were a very large island, Roa's current abilities would certainly not be enough. But for a small island like this, it was no problem! Roads were torn apart, the harbor churned violently, and numerous research institutes began to collapse. In an instant, the entire island was in chaos. Screams and wails immediately rang out.
Roa took a deep breath, speaking with intoxicated delight. "Just right! Now there's nothing to fear!"
"Brat!!"
The top of a crumbling research institute below suddenly exploded, and a figure shot out like a cannonball. Black hair, black suit, a terrifyingly long black lightning trail behind his black right fist.
He really is here! My "nothing to fear" was a lie; can he please just not come after me?
Roa's downward momentum abruptly stopped. Without hesitation, he opened his mouth and let out a roar towards the incoming man. Its name: Roar of the Tiger King! The sound wave, mixed with Conqueror's Haki, transformed into a white ray, creating ripples in the air.
"Fist of Justice: Galaxy Impact!!"
Roa spat out a laser, and Garp punched out a nuclear explosion! The violent Haki shockwave was unstoppable. Although Roa's sound wave was incredibly powerful, it crumbled upon impact. The unstoppable shockwave slammed into—
A huge rock.
"What?" Garp was stunned. Where did such a large rock come from in the sky? Shattered rocks splattered everywhere, and the unstoppable shockwave crushed that rock, then collided with a second rock.
"Phew, that's truly an exaggerated amount of power. He blasted through two meteorites at once?" Roa had already used the meteorites as cover to pull away and evade. "Good thing I reacted quickly."
"Is that brat's ability?" Garp floated in the air, his face filled with incomprehension. An ability to create rocks out of thin air?
But never mind. As long as he caught this brat, it would be fine!
Moonwalk! The Marine Hero stomped on the air, chasing after Roa with terrifying speed.
But.
"Don't get in the way, Hero Garp." Roa calmly raised a finger and pointed towards the harbor. "Is it really okay not to deal with that over there?"
Garp instinctively turned his head, and his pupils instantly constricted. In the sky, massive meteorites were raining down towards the harbor—where warships were docked and temporary housing for Marines stood on the shore.
"You stinking brat! Just you wait!!" Garp hurled threats as he sped away like lightning.
He can actually move that fast? Roa clicked his tongue. This was in the air! What an exaggerated Moonwalk!
But, he had him! Earlier, saying he was scared was a lie; when he said he wasn't scared, he wasn't scared. It was widely known that hostages + threats were the real Tier S+ in this version!
So.
Roa crashed heavily onto a pile of rubble, casually grabbing a white-coated scientist whose head was bleeding. This scientist tried to act tough for a moment, but the next second, he was trembling with fear, snot and tears streaming down his face.
"Where is my most respected Big Brother Kaido?"
"Over there! Over there!" The scientist's entire body quivered with fear, his raised hand shaking so much that Roa almost couldn't tell where he was pointing. Wasn't that where Garp had come from?
"Thanks," Roa casually threw the guy aside, then took a huge leap, landing like a grenade on top of that research institute. The already crumbling institute immediately collapsed completely.
"Ah, is it that fragile? Does the Navy also have a Commissioner Smith? I suggest a thorough investigation." Roa stood on the ruins, muttering to himself before yelling at the top of his lungs, "Big Brother Kaido, I'm here to save you! Speak up!"
Before he could get a reply from Big Brother Kaido, a voice came from below his feet. "Excuse me, could you please not step on me?"
"Huh?" Roa looked down.
The debris of the building beneath his feet began to weather, turning into swirling yellow sand.
Desertification!
"Cough, cough, cough!" Violent coughing sounds came from within the swirling yellow sand. "What's going on? Where did this sand come from!"
Roa had already clearly seen the person beneath the ruins. Bound to a metal operating table, with dark skin, white hair, a pair of black wings on his back, and flames burning behind his head.
Oh, wow, how exaggerated! There's an unexpected discovery here?
"What's your name?" Roa asked.
"Me? King."
