Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 – Black Funeral

"A hundred gods left. One reaper with nothing left to lose."

---

Tower Core – After the Fall

Ash fell from the sky like snow.

The heavens above the Tower were ruptured. What once shimmered with divine light now cracked, bleeding stardust and silence. The screams of the dead gods still echoed in the soul-fabric of the Tower.

Jin stood atop the corpse of the Ancient Evil God, its form unrecognizable—its body broken, liquefied, and fused into the bleeding ground. Twisting limbs spasmed without command. One of its mouths still whispered apologies in extinct languages.

Jin's expression didn't change.

> "One maker down." "One hundred left."

The void responded.

Not with rage. Not with grief. But with fear.

Even the abyss feared him now.

System Broadcast – Worldwide Notification

> [WARNING: GODSLAYER LIMIT EXCEEDED] [New Mission: Extinction Protocol – Purge Remaining Pantheon (100)] [Status: Jin Black – Anti-God Unbound]

Across the globe, players screamed as visions flooded their minds—visions of a man cloaked in black fire, surrounded by halos made of broken wings and severed tongues.

> "He's coming…" "He's devouring them…" "Gods help us—"

But no gods answered.

---

Realm of Broken Thrones – First of the Hundred

The first sealed god awoke in panic.

He was the God of Harmony—a celestial architect who had slumbered for eons in a temple woven from sound and silence.

He barely had time to scream before Jin appeared in front of him.

> "You were supposed to stay buried."

The god played a note meant to calm beasts, dissolve rage, lull armies to sleep.

Jin walked through it.

He grabbed the god by the face, and whispered into his skull.

> "Sing in silence."

[Word of No Return – Active]

The god's vocal cords twisted into knots. His ears imploded.

Jin impaled the deity's harp through his chest and made his corpse ring like a bell.

For a moment, it sounded beautiful.

Then it dissolved into static.

---

The Second, Third, and Tenth

The God of Storms exploded from his prison in a fit of wrath. Lightning surged across the skies.

Jin opened his mouth.

And swallowed the storm.

The God of Love rose from her jeweled crypt, weeping.

> "You don't have to do this…"

Jin pulled out her still-beating heart, kissed it mockingly, and placed it in her lap.

> "Die with your own affections."

He forced her to hug herself as she bled out, a smile carved into her face with her own divine thread.

The God of Fire unleashed a supernova. Jin walked through it, burning and smiling.

He whispered:

> "You lit the first flame." "Now let me extinguish the last."

And he turned the flames inward—until the god burned from the inside out, eyes liquefying, lungs vaporizing into prayers turned to ash.

By the tenth god, the Tower itself begged him to stop.

> "Anti-God detected." "Reality bleeding." "Suppression field: ACTIVE."

Jin lifted one finger.

The floor screamed.

And the rules shattered.

---

The World Reacts

Temples melted.

Altars burst into flames.

Children born during the purge were stillborn—marked with the Godslayer's sigil.

Entire cities went blind as divine light withdrew. Statues bled. Rivers reversed.

Priests lost their tongues. Prophets clawed out their own eyes.

> "He is unmaking us." "He's not killing the gods." "He's killing the idea of them."

Across the world, the faithful screamed as holy symbols twisted into effigies of Jin's face—half in shadow, half in flame, eyes that wept only rot.

---

Tower Apex – The Anti-God Ascends

Jin stood above them all.

He did not gloat. He did not taunt. He simply continued.

Because this was never vengeance. Not anymore.

It was clarity.

The gods were never saviors. Only parasites.

And now, they would be given the only mercy he still believed in:

Annihilation.
