It's was my 19th birthday. The day I become an adult. My parents went full-blown on the birthday party, their multi-million mansion had been turned to a two-themed teen party: a Cinderella theme on one side for me and a LeBron James' theme on the other for my twin brother, Jaxon. The party was filled with people of different classes: the elite business tycoons that my Dad invited, very classy, very demure women of power from my mum's circle, Jaxon's bros, my friends and others. You know they always say, "Your 20's is that stage of life where you are gonna learn, relearn and unlearn through both good and bad experience", they say, "This period of your life determines how you're gonna end up". Well, for me, tonight is the night that I would meet someone that would leave an unforgettable wound that I don't think I ever recovered from. I am moving too fast right? My name is Jasmine Williams. The 3rd child and only daughter of Mr. George Williams, CEO of TerraMar Technologies and the 2nd richest man in world, according to Google. My mom, on the other hand, manages a fashion cloth line, Louis Vuitton. How they met is quite a rom-com, worthy to be featured on Wattpad. My Dad was an immigrant at Canada trying to fend for himself. He left his parents at his home country, Mexico, when he was given a job as a computer engineer at one the well-known space companies in those days. Well, leaving home was hard but he knew that this was what he had to do to a difference, knowing where he came from. When he joined, the owner immediately saw the potential in him and took him as his god-son. My mom was the only child of the owner, they met in one of the most awkward moments ever: my dad mistakenly spilled a cocktail drink on my mom when they bumped into each other at an event for the company, he took her to the bathroom and gave her his shirt, while he wore just a sweater throughout the event. From then on, the became friends and then friends grew to lovers. Unfortunately, the company experienced some fraud from the inside and they weren't able to recover and it crumbled completely. With the help of his god-father, my Dad opened his own company, made his first million, got married to my mom, built his first house and then had children. His company was growing little by little and he began getting the recognition that he deserved. He permanently moved my grandparents to Canada to stay with him and also to instill the culture in his children too. My grandparents made sure that my siblings and I could speak Spanish fluently. By the time I turned 8, he made the US his headquarters so we moved there. My grandparents didn't come along, they didn't want to.
My parents had 4 children: my older brother Michael Miguel Williams AKA Mikey, an Rn'B musician. He made his first debut while he was in music academy titled 'baby'. He then made his first Collab with some Mexican artist titled 'Despacito' which was a global hit , winning multiple international award.
