Boom!
The moment the guards outside heard King Cold's scream from the room, they no longer dared delay. They blasted open the door with energy attacks.
"King Cold!"
But as they rushed inside, what they saw was Cold holding the limp body of a royal guard—The guard's head drooped lifelessly to the side. He was clearly dead.
"Your Majesty, he… he…"
"Useless fools! This guy was the culprit behind all the recent attacks!"
Cold threw the body to the ground with a grunt.
"Clean this up and burn that corpse!"
With that, "King Cold" left the room.
"Y-Yes, sir…"
The attendants knelt in fear, bowing as Cold walked away. They looked at the body and murmured:
"That was one of the royal guards… why would he ever dare attack the king?"
"Who knows. Probably went mad. You'd think being that close to King Cold, he'd understand how terrifying His Majesty is. What an idiot."
But what they didn't know was—the real King Cold was that corpse on the floor.
And the one who had just walked away…was actually Captain Ginyu, now in King Cold's body!
Once back in Cold's private chamber, Ginyu shut the door behind him—and could no longer suppress his excitement.
"HAHAHAHA! Power! I can feel it—surging, like it's going to explode!"
"So this is the body of an Frost Demon… the sheer energy flowing through it… it's almost overwhelming!"
"Right! The Frost Demons can transform too! Just like Frieza, Cold has been suppressing his true power all this time!"
"If I transform into my final form… I might truly become invincible!"
But then Ginyu calmed down.
"No… not yet. Even if I reach the final form, I might still not be a match for a Super Saiyan."
"I have to become even stronger! This body still has more potential to unlock!"
"And there's the Dragon Balls! I'll use them to gain eternal life. With that and this incredible Frost Demon body, I, Captain Ginyu, will become ruler of the entire universe!"
"Wait for me, Saiyans! When I surpass the limits of the Frost Demons, I'll come for you. The strongest emperor in the universe won't be Frieza, and it won't be the Saiyans—It'll be ME!"
Elsewhere in the galaxy…
"Jaco, is this 'Zuno' guy really all-knowing?"
"Of course!" Jaco said confidently, steering his spaceship.
Currently, Lynx and Tights were aboard Jaco's ship.
Their destination was a strange and mysterious planet—home to the omniscient being known as Zuno.
According to Lynx's memories, Zuno was a being of limitless knowledge, said to know everything in existence.
Lynx's purpose for seeking Zuno was simple: He wanted to learn how to travel to parallel universes.
After returning to Earth, he had asked Tights to contact Jaco on his behalf.
Though Lynx could use Instant Transmission, he had no idea where Zuno's planet was—only Jaco knew the route.
Tights, intrigued by the mystery, insisted on tagging along.
"I mean, who wouldn't want to meet a literal 'all-knowing alien'?" she said."It's the ultimate scoop!"
Bulma had also wanted to come, but Lynx saw through her real intentions and flatly refused.
The journey took hours, and the boredom was starting to set in.
"Jaco, how much longer until we arrive?" Tights asked.
"About two more hours," Jaco estimated.
"Two hours?! Your ship is so slow! Lynx's Instant Transmission is way better…"
Jaco pouted.
"Hey! This spaceship was a reward from the Galactic King himself, for surviving the Tevi Star Campaign! I almost died to earn it!"
"Tevi Star? Oh yeah, Lynx told me about that. Wait—so that means you technically died once? What was the afterlife like? Come on, tell me—I can use it for my new book!"
"No idea!" Jaco huffed and turned away.
Tights grabbed his shoulder eagerly.
"Aw, don't be stingy! I'm serious—this is gold for my writing!"
"Wait… your book? Isn't Galactic Patrolman Jaco already finished?"
"It is! I'm working on a new one called My Saiyan Boyfriend. It's currently #1 on the new release charts—doing way better than Jaco ever did!"
"Hmph! Then I'm definitely not telling you anything," Jaco sulked.
Their back-and-forth banter continued until they finally arrived at Planet Zuno.
Just like its resident, the planet was incredibly unique—Not very large, only a few times bigger than King Kai's planet. Its appearance resembled a massive wooden box encasing a sphere.
The surface was brightly colored and whimsical, with only a single palace on the planet.
Zuno's palace had a traditional Japanese architectural style, but oddly enough, had a giant escalator at the front—making the place feel bizarrely mismatched.
The trio took the escalator up to the palace entry, where they found a long line of visitors already waiting.
Just as they stepped forward, a group of samurai-like aliens approached, each holding a small notebook.
Tights asked, curious:
"Hey, who are these weird-looking guys? Which one is Zuno?"
"We're not Zuno!" they all said in unison."We're his attendants!"
Then they turned to Lynx, surrounding him.
"Lord Zuno foresaw the arrival of uninvited guests. We're here to investigate."
"Uninvited guests?" Tights blinked.
"Correct. Lord Zuno does not meet with those who haven't made an appointment," said one of the attendants firmly.
"What?! Jaco! You didn't tell us this!" Tights shouted, clearly furious. After flying for hours, now they couldn't even get in?
Jaco was stunned—he had never visited Zuno's planet before, and had no idea about the appointment rule.
One of the attendants flipped open his notebook.
"If you'd like to make an appointment now, the earliest available slot is in five years."
"FIVE YEARS?!"
Jaco awkwardly scratched his head.
"Uh… I'm a Galactic Patrolman. Can't you make an exception?"
"No," the attendant replied coldly, without hesitation.
