BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
As Lynx led Krillin and the others away, the distant sky echoed with thunderous explosions.
"Mr. Lynx, is Goku going to be okay?"Krillin asked, carrying Master Roshi on his back.
"I don't know," Lynx replied grimly. "That Broly… he's terrifying."
"Aren't you a Saiyan too? Why not help them?" asked Oolong, who Lynx was carrying under his arm.
"I will—but not until I get you all off this planet. A comet is approaching. This place is going to be destroyed."
When Lynx told them about the incoming comet, everyone's faces turned pale.
"WHAT?! Then what about Goku and the others!?"
"You idiot," Oolong snapped. "Goku can use Instant Transmission! We're the ones in danger—hurry, we need to escape!"
As soon as they touched down, the group ran toward Paragus's spaceship.
At that same moment, Lynx spotted Paragus himself, also making a run for the ship.
"You all go. I'll deal with that Saiyan."
In a flash, Lynx appeared in front of Paragus.
The old Saiyan froze.
"If you want to escape with me, fine—otherwise, get out of my way!"
"Aren't you going to stay… with your son?" Lynx asked calmly.
"Hmph! Broly's beyond my control now. He's just in the way!"
Lynx sighed and shook his head.
"Paragus… This world forced you into desperation. Let me end your suffering."
"Wha—?"
Paragus realized too late what Lynx meant.
He tried to unleash his energy and fight back, but Lynx had already placed a hand against his chest.
"Paragus… You were a pitiful man. I regret what your life became in this world. But rest assured—in another timeline, you lived much better."
"What are you talking ab—"
FWOOOM! A brilliant blue-white beam shot through Paragus's heart.
The man who had lived his life in bitterness, selfishness, and pain… fell dead at Lynx's hand.
Ironically, it was a mercy.
Had Lynx not intervened, Paragus's fate would've been far worse—crushed to death by his own son and then hurled into a comet.
Krillin and the others said nothing as they watched Paragus fall. Nor did they feel the slightest sympathy.
He had manipulated Broly into killing countless innocents across the Southern Galaxy. His hands were as bloody as Frieza's.
Lynx returned and quickly rushed into the spaceship, where he neutralized all of Paragus's soldiers before stepping back out.
"Mr. Krillin, the ship's yours now. Get out of here while you still can. I'm going to check on Goku."
"Right!" Krillin nodded, but then stiffened—his gaze fixed on the distant battlefield.
The energy signatures from Goku and the others were rapidly fading.
"Oh no… they're in trouble!" He turned to Lynx. "Mr. Lynx, please… I'm just a human. I can't help anymore."
"Understood. Leave it to me." Lynx nodded, then blasted off toward the battle.
As he flew, he could already feel it: Goku and the others were on the brink of collapse.
Just as he prepared to accelerate—
A new, unfamiliar energy flared on the battlefield.
"That ki… is that Piccolo?"
Sure enough, when Lynx arrived at the ruined city that had become their battleground, he saw Piccolo feeding Senzu Beans to Goku and the others.
With their strength restored, the four warriors surrounded Broly once again.
Lynx landed just in time to witness it.
Broly glanced at him and sneered.
"It doesn't matter how many of you come—trash is still trash."
"A Saiyan?" Piccolo turned to Goku."Who is he?"
"He's Lynx—a wandering Saiyan," Goku explained."Mr. Lynx, can you help us? This guy's way too strong!"
"Sorry," Lynx replied bluntly. "I don't like fighting in teams. I'll step in if you all fall."
Because of the system's mission requirement, Lynx couldn't intervene yet.
Goku looked disappointed, but Piccolo—unfamiliar with Lynx's strength—didn't press the issue.
After all, if Lynx was weak, his involvement could be a liability.
"Goku! Enough talk! The four of us will take him down!" Piccolo shouted.
"Right!"
"Hahaha! You'd suffer less if you just laid down and died. Why don't you get that?"
The bloodline of the Legendary Super Saiyan caused the wielder to lose sanity as their energy soared.
But because Paragus had long suppressed Broly's power, he hadn't yet completely lost his mind.
And ironically, a sane Broly was even more terrifying than a berserk one.
The four warriors launched a renewed offensive.
Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks—all had power levels above 20 million in Super Saiyan form.
Piccolo, now merged with Kami, was at over 30 million.
Yet—even with their combined assault—they couldn't land a single serious blow.
Worse still: Broly showed no signs of fatigue.
While ordinary Super Saiyan forms carried a heavy physical toll, the Legendary Super Saiyan form seemed exempt.
It was as if Broly had infinite stamina.
The battle had already cost them a Senzu Bean. Even with Piccolo and a reawakened Vegeta joining, their attacks couldn't force Broly's energy to drop in the slightest.
BOOM!
"Urgh!!"
With a thunderous crash, Vegeta was slammed into a massive boulder by a brutal palm strike.
A crater the size of a meteor impact burst from the stone, with fractures spreading in all directions.
Broly gripped Vegeta's head and smashed it repeatedly into the rock until the prince fell unconscious, dropping out of Super Saiyan form.
Vegeta's fall marked the end.
No one was left standing—except for Lynx, watching from the sidelines.
"That's it? Hmph… Trash will always be trash."
Broly let go of Vegeta's head and allowed him to fall to the ground like discarded meat.
He raised his head and howled triumphantly.
A roaring column of golden light surged from his body, blazing like an infernal flame.
But just then—
A figure appeared before Broly.
"Broly. If you want to celebrate your victory, you'll have to wait…"
"You forgot about me."
