Chapter 1 - End Of Life

A regret at the end of life

Three months ago, we came across a young man. There was no brightness in his eyes, no smile on his face. It was as if he had sacrificed all the enthusiasm, joy and happiness of his life and dedicated himself to an indomitable work ethic. Leaving for work at eight in the morning and returning home exhausted at ten at night – this was his daily routine. Even after returning home, there was no rest, he would again sink into the office world. Looking at the things around him, it was clear how deep the value of money was in his life. He would only say one thing to himself, "Not today, but tomorrow. After becoming the owner of a lot of money, I will rejoice, celebrate, and fulfill all my passions."

Childhood dreams shattered

Since childhood, his parents could not give him much time. When they saw their child paying extra attention to studies and work, an intense addiction towards money and work developed in his subconscious mind. He wanted to grow up quickly, to finish his studies and earn a lot of money by working. At that time, he did not understand that he was inevitably going to get stuck in an invisible "rat-trap" - where life only runs, but there is no joy.

The loneliness of college life

In college life, there was no place for anything other than studies in his thoughts. His only goal was to earn unlimited money. Many classmates wanted to be friends with him, wanted to come closer. But he did not respond to the call of friendship and remained immersed only in studies. Going somewhere with friends, enjoying college festivals - none of these things were in his life. He used to tell himself then, "I will go to the future and make up for all the joys at once."

The emptiness and unexpected end of his working life

By the time he got a job after completing his studies, both his parents had migrated to the other side. At that time, he was completely alone in the world. Even though he got a challenging job like cyber security, his only goal was to earn money. His office colleagues wanted to be friends with him, wanted to go out together, wanted to share joy. Even his office boss had requested him to take leave and go on a break many times. But he was running around like a robot with only the goal of earning money.

Thus, one day he fell seriously ill. When he went to the hospital, he found out that he had stage four cancer. The doctor told him that he had only three days left to live.

Lying on his deathbed, he saw the reflection of the life he had left behind. He was burning with intense regret. He thought about how much precious time he had wasted in life, how much joy he could not enjoy, how many hobbies remained unfulfilled, and how he could not keep himself happy. And today, despite having so much money, he had no one to enjoy it with. This realization led him to a decision – he would donate all his money to a charity or orphanage. He prepared the necessary documents in just three days. Now he is only drowning in regret on his deathbed, with nothing else to do.

This is the tragic end of his life.
