Raphael's POV I walked straight to where the strange lady stood. I could tell she was slowly getting weakened by their attacks despite the hard front she maintained. But that wasn't all I noticed, she looked familiar. She was the bar girl. The drunk girl. 'Let us mingle' girl. Something in me leapt for joy; I had found her again. I thought I would never meet her but here she was standing in front of me. Who would have guessed that she was my brother's ex-girlfriend? Now it was all adding up, she had probably gone to the bar just so she could clear her head after her breakup. I heard they had been dating for seven years. Honestly, breaking up after such a long relationship is one of the saddest things that could happen to a woman. My opinion though. I looked forward, and then I saw the 'so-called original' daughter standing next to Marcel as a bee hung to its honeycomb. My gaze drifted from each of them one by one until I got to Gramps. I took a slight bow, and he smiled. Then I began to tackle all of them for saying that the strange lady was fake until the worst happened. Her adoptive parents came with a document that showed that they had relieved themselves of the rights and privileges of being her parent, claiming that they wanted to focus on their biological daughter. The sound of the double door opening from behind me made me know that she had run out of the room. I wanted to follow her immediately, but I stopped myself; I didn't want them getting ideas or opinions, and it was not like I cared about what they thought. But one major reason I stayed back was because I needed to give the Kensington's some lashing. "I see, you've gone to relieve yourself of the right of being her parents; I am sure you are very happy now." "It's not... it's just..." "You don't have to explain anything to me" I interrupted "You've just told me the kind of people you are," "And who are you please?" Mrs Kensington asked I laughed out loud, "Who am I?" I scoffed "Well have you heard of Raphael Global Holdings" Mrs Kensington's eyes opened wide. "Yes, we've heard of the company; they have their major base in California." He said I smiled and said, "You are right." I moved closer to where they were standing and picked up the documents that Diana had dropped. "I am Raphael Lorenzo, the first son of Lorenzo Junior and the first grandson of Lorenzo Senior. I am also the CEO of Raphael Global Holdings." I paused for a moment, placing the documents on Mr. Kensington's body. "And the heir to this great dynasty?" I added with a smile as I turned around. I drifted my eyes from one person to the next, trying to catch their facial expression, and I was satisfied by what I saw. They all had jaw-dropping expressions; the Kensington's including Serena had Mouth-watering expressions I could sense their greed and desire in the air. Gramps had a surprised look on his face. I was sure it was because I had introduced myself as the heir to Lorenzo's dynasty; he had tried to get me to accept it, but I had always refused. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure why I admitted it all of a sudden. Maybe I just wanted them to know the kind of person that was taking Diana's side. Maybe I just wanted them to know that even though they had all abandoned her, she still had someone like me who believed that she was not a fake, not an impostor. "Raphael!!!" Marcel growled "Hey hello brother, we've not had the time to greet each other well enough," I said smiling "How dare you come here and..." "And do what Marcel?" I interrupted I turned to where Gramps sat, "Happy birthday Gramps, your gift is on its way", I said, Bowing my head. Smiling, he said "Thank you, my son" As I raised my head, I noticed someone charging towards me from behind with a clenched fist. Marcel. I smirked. I leaned forward slightly, making him miss, then positioned my leg in his path so that when he came at me, he would trip and fall to the ground. My plan worked, he fell to the ground. Everyone in the room shouted in awe. Serena rushed over to where Marcel lay, "Are you okay, darling?" He shrugged. I turned to Grandpa and Grandma "I am sorry for causing a scene," I said, Bowing my head. "It's fine my child, it isn't your fault," Grandma Audrey said "How dare you do that to your brother" Mom launched her hands at me Her hands landed on my face. "Riley!" Grandma Audrey exclaimed I scoffed. I messed up; I was angry not because of the pain of the slap but because I didn't see it coming. I was glad Diana wasn't in. "You disappeared for twenty years, you come back here claiming to be the heir to the Lorenzo's dynasty?" I chuckled "Did I really disappear?" I said turning to face her properly. I took a step back. "Is there anyone in this room, apart from the Kensington's, who didn't know about my whereabouts?" I paused. "So did I really disappear? Or you all just didn't love me enough to try to check on me in Atlanta." Mom tried to slap me again, but this time, I held her hands. "I let you slap me the first time, I wouldn't let you slap me the second Time." "Raphael have you gone nuts, that's our mother you are talking to" Marcel shot at me "Our mother, or your mother?" I shot back at him. "You are disrespecting Mom all because of that impostor? That fake?" "Be quiet, Anna, or I will send you back to your husband wrapped in band-aids," I warned She wanted to rebel, but I shot her a wicked, icy gaze. "I can't believe you all ganged up against her; I can't believe you all agreed to invite her to Gramp's party all because you wanted to humiliate her." "I didn't know they were going to do something like this," my dad said I took one last look at everyone before finally walking out on all of them.
