Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE: REBIRTH

Here's the completely merged text:

Earth, October 15, 1809. The first set of superhumans appeared, along with a whole lot of discoveries; for instance, the other planets had beings living in them. Afterward, humans and superhumans started giving birth, and 100 years later, the world became without humans; everybody had one power or another, some elemental powers, some light-based powers, and so on.

Then, 15 years after the world became completely devoid of humans, nine beings came into existence, each for every planet. These beings were the true embodiment of power; they possessed power beyond the imagination of this world. They could tap into the power of a zone they call the sentient zone, and they are replaced by new ones after they die. And thus, the world was born again.

October 15, 2009. I was born into a family of one of the most powerful people in the world. In my family, second-borns always have the powers of both their parents and can occasionally tap into our ancestral powers. My father could manipulate fire, while my mother could control ice and water and was also immune to magic; yeah, magic exists.

As I lay in my crib, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. My family's expectations weighed heavily on me, and the silence that followed my birth was deafening. I was expected to have a wide arsenal of powers, but on the day of my birth, everything was quiet; not a spark came out, neither did a poof. I just stared at my family, and they stared back with mixed emotions.

"Quickly, call the doctor; he'll know what's going on," my grandmother screamed. The doctor came, stared at me, stared at my family, and stared at me again. He couldn't talk until impatiently my grandmother shouted, "Are you going to talk, or should I force the words out of your mouth?" "I don't know what to say, ma'am; he's probably a late bloomer. Give him some time; in five years, his powers will probably manifest."

The celebration ended not with the usual laughs but with everyone looking at me with hope. Ah, hope I don't disappoint. As I grew older, I began to realize that my lack of powers wasn't just a minor setback. In a world where superhumans ruled, being powerless made me an outcast. I longed to prove myself, to show my family and the world that I was more than just a weakling.

The sentient zone held secrets and mysteries that I was determined to uncover. The powerful beings who resided there were said to possess abilities beyond imagination, and I wondered if I could tap into that power. My relationships with my family members were complex. My parents were supportive, but their expectations were suffocating. My grandmother, who had always been a bit of a firecracker, was more direct: "You need to develop your powers, boy. You're a part of this family, and we don't do weakness."

I knew I had to find my place in this world, to discover my strengths and weaknesses. The stakes were high, and failure would mean losing the respect and admiration of my family and the world.
