Haru, a normal guy who just woke up after a night of partying, the first thing he sees is a room that's all trashed and dark.
"Aaaahg, my head... Where am I? How did I get here?" he said into the void, but no one answered.
There was no one there, or if there had been, it was a long time ago. Everything looked like a place where experiments or something similar were carried out, as there were many things on several tables.
He got up and left the room. The first thing he did was walk out of that place and wash his face. Walking through the hallways of the place, he saw a bathroom at the end, went there, and entered. The first thing he noticed was the face in the mirror.
"What the hell? Why does it show Goku's face?" Haru exclaimed when he saw the bathroom mirror.
He thought it was a poster and tried to remove it, but when he saw that it wasn't, he touched his face and saw that the reflection did the same.
"Seriously, I hope this is just a joke by Takumi," he muttered to himself.
He washed his face, left the bathroom, and headed outside. Upon exiting, he noticed an extensive forest and that where he was was like an abandoned base.
"Seriously, if I find Takumi, he'll pay for this. His joke isn't funny at all."
He walked forward for about 30 minutes, and when he saw a stream of water, he followed it, as it is common for there to be a settlement near where water flows.
After walking for an hour, he noticed something unusual. Normally, he would be exhausted since he was not used to long walks, but he did not feel tired. It was as if his body was full of energy and strength.
Suddenly, he saw houses in the distance and headed toward them to ask where he was. When he reached the streets, he saw a man and approached him to ask.
"Good afternoon, excuse me, could you tell me what direction this is?"
"Sure, young man, we're in Riviera, near Los Angeles," replied the man.
Hearing the answer, he was surprised because yesterday he was in Kamakura Prefecture and now he was on the other side of the planet.
"Thank you very much for answering, sir."
"You're welcome, young man."
Haru walked along, wondering how Takumi and his friends had managed to transport him from Japan to Los Angeles.
As he walked, he heard something on the radio that shocked him.
"The battle in New York resulted in the deaths of 74 civilians. Material damage is estimated to be between $60 billion and $70 billion..."
He didn't even finish listening before he stopped and processed what he had heard. "Battle in Los Angeles"? If he remembered correctly, that happened in the movie The Avengers.
Reincarnation was the only thing that came to mind at that moment, but in the Marvel universe, where gods and people with powers that could alter reality lived, he didn't have time to process any more when he heard a robotic voice in his mind.
