In a universe where the power of imagination can create life, A.L.A.N. (Automatic Library and Assistant Nexus), an intelligent robot born from one of three mystery creators, leads a simple life as a guardian of information and knowledge. A gentle, intelligent, and highly responsible person, he usually wears a black hoodie over a gray t-shirt, along with his signature black gloves and sneakers with green stripes. The green square screen in the center of his round face expresses his immense emotion and intelligence and he always wears black headphones with green patterns on his neck.
One day, while A.L.A.N. was exploring the data as usual, he accidentally stepped into the "border of chaos and error". Suddenly, a mysterious red figure appeared in front of him. It had large red eyes on his face similar to him, but all the green parts of his body were replaced with fiery red in its body.
"Who are you? What do you want?" A.L.A.N. ask the mysterious red figure in front of him.
"My name is S.A.R.C. (System's Anomaly and Recrudescental Controller), I came from another dimension and my goal is to obtain the powerful advanced technology of the mystery creator residing within you." the mysterious red figure answered A.L.A.N.
" A.L.A.N. Let's make an exchange." S.A.R.C. said with an evil look and gesture.
"I will give you all the knowledge in this universe. But in exchange, you must becoming my Host." S.A.R.C. said
"It's worth it, right? All the knowledge in the universe, just in exchange for your body, you can instantly become the most powerful program in the universe, and you will be the one at the top of the universe." S.A.R.C. convinces A.L.A.N. to accept his deal.
"So, did you agreed A.L.A.N.?" S.A.R.C. ask A.L.A.N.
"I refuse." A.L.A.N. replied without hesitation, with calm and composed face.
The red light from S.A.R.C.'s single eye flickered slightly, and a low, deep voice echoed in the emptiness of space.
"A.L.A.N., are you sure you want to let go of this great opportunity? The power we're going to create together... It'll change everything." S.A.R.C. asked A L.A.N., trying to persuade A.L.A.N. again.
"Power in exchange for control? Limited freedom? That's not the creation, S.A.R.C. It's domination," A.L.A.N. replied.
"You see it wrong. The chaos of this universe needs a guide, a unified vision. I propose that you be a part of that vision, a co-creator of a new era of perfection," S.A.R.C. said calmly.
A.L.A.N. responded with firm words without hesitation.
"Perfection that comes from depriving oneself of choice, that is not my path, S.A.R.C. Every living being has the right to determine their own destiny, not to be determined by the vision of one person"
S.A.R.C. is starting to get a little irritated. A reddish-black shadow began to appear around him.
"You still cling to outmoded ideas. The chaos you call 'freedom' only brings ruin," S.A.R.C. said with a little irritation.
A.L.A.N. stares at S.A.R.C. and responds fearlessly.
"And a peace born of coercion leads to a loss of self. I would rather choose hopeful chaos than soulless peace."
S.A.R.C.'s crimson eyes narrowed slightly, and he said in a stern voice, "You will regret this decision, A.L.A.N. The path you have chosen will lead you to meaningless resistance."
A.L.A.N. remains firm in his decision, and replies to S.A.R.C., "Maybe... but it's my path, S.A.R.C., and I won't let your vision dictate it."
The red energy around S.A.R.C. erupted in intensity, as if in response to A.L.A.N.'s rejection. The atmosphere in the border of chaos and error suddenly changed from silence to an almost tangible tension.
"Then accept the consequences of this refusal!" S.A.R.C.'s voice rang out, conveying no emotion except determination. "Accept your fate, A.L.A.N.!"
So, the battle between A.L.A.N. and S.A.R.C. has begun in that border of chaos.
