Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Sis, You Smell So Good~

Inside the Angel Temple.

Qian Daoliu patiently instructed the siblings:

"The first step of cultivation is knowing your current level. Only when you understand where you are can you improve from there."

As he spoke, he pulled out a crystal orb radiating with three swirling colors. The multicolored glow danced inside the orb, dazzling and beautiful.

"For ordinary soul masters, the maximum innate soul power is level 10. They must hunt a soul ring before they can continue cultivating."

"But the Six-Winged Angel Martial Spirit is different. Once awakened, it grants innate level 20 soul power."

"That means you can absorb two soul rings right away!"

"This is a blessing from the Angel God—a reward for generations of devotion to her."

Saying that, Qian Daoliu handed the tri-colored crystal orb to Qian Renfeng. Before he could begin cultivation, they needed to determine his current level.

Usually, those with the Six-Winged Angel Martial Spirit indeed awakened with level 20 innate power. However, this boy had been personally chosen by the Angel God during his awakening.

He could possess level 30 soul power from the start.

So Qian Daoliu had brought a crystal orb capable of measuring up to level 30, placing it before Qian Renfeng—just in case.

Renfeng took the orb and quietly channeled his soul power into it. Instantly, the lights inside began spinning rapidly, shining brilliantly.

Before Qian Daoliu could react in surprise, a sharp crack rang out—the crystal orb shattered into two clean halves. The glowing streams of light burst out in all directions and vanished.

Just moments ago, it had glowed so brightly—and now it was utterly dull and lifeless.

"Quick, Xue'er! Go fetch the crystal that can test up to level 50! This kid… he's even more monstrous than we thought!"

Qian Renxue was equally stunned by her brother's talent, but she didn't delay. She turned on her heels and dashed out of the temple, her heels clicking across the floor—tap tap tap—as she ran toward the Hall of Worship.

Qian Daoliu exhaled deeply, staring at the shattered remains of the crystal orb. He gently patted the back of Qian Renfeng's head.

With a talent like this… the Spirit Hall truly has hope of unifying the entire continent!

If Renfeng could one day become a god, there would be no rivals left. The only name that would matter...

Spirit Hall. Angel Empire.

Moments later, Qian Renxue returned with a five-colored crystal orb, larger and even more ornate than the last.

Renfeng took it from her delicate hand—taking a moment to appreciate her soft, smooth skin—then injected his soul power into this new crystal.

Immediately, the five-colored light flared to life, swirling with even greater intensity than before. And then, another sharp crack rang out.

The crystal orb shattered again.

The testing crystal for level-50 soul masters now lay on the floor like a cursed object—silent and broken.

Renfeng's face showed no change, but Qian Daoliu's hands trembled uncontrollably. The boy may not realize what this meant—but he did.

This meant Qian Renfeng's innate soul power had already surpassed level 50...

A born Soul King?!

No wonder the Angel God had descended to choose him personally!

Some people train their entire lives and never surpass the rank of Grand Soul Master. Others, like this boy, are born with the power of five soul rings, capable of attaching them right away and standing at the top of the world.

What can anyone say to that?!

Qian Daoliu left the temple and returned shortly after, holding a miniature Angel God statue, which looked as if it had been forged from pure gold.

At the base of the statue was a small dial with a needle gauge, specifically designed to measure top-tier soul power.

Anyone below level 50 did not need this tool—it was only used to register the power of the most dangerous or gifted individuals.

Qian Daoliu returned to Renfeng, held the statue carefully, and gently pressed it against the boy's body. At once, the statue lit up, glowing brilliantly—its aura harmonizing with the sacred energy inside the Angel Temple.

The dial at the base spun wildly, skipping straight past level 50 without pause. Renfeng's power had long surpassed that threshold.

The needle didn't slow down until it hit level 70.

Qian Daoliu inhaled sharply.

A born Soul Sage?! He's starting at level 70?!

But before he could recover, the needle kept climbing. Without him realizing, it had already surpassed level 80—the rank of Soul Douluo!

That was the same level as Spirit Hall's Four Platinum Bishops!

And yet... the dial didn't stop.

It continued to spin toward level 90—the threshold of Titled Douluo.

Qian Daoliu watched in awe, completely focused.

Finally, the needle came to rest at a single number:

96.

Level 96?!

A naturally born Titled Douluo—no, a born Super Douluo?!

Qian Daoliu's hand slipped, and the Angel God statue fell to the floor with a clunk.

He had seen many geniuses in his life—but never one like this. A six-year-old boy, awakening his martial spirit, chosen by two gods, born with dual god-tier spirits, and already possessing level 96 soul power?!

And he was only six years old!

He had already reached a level that most people couldn't achieve in a lifetime. How was that even fair?

Qian Daoliu looked at Qian Renfeng with a complicated expression—one that carried a hint of pity. But the pity wasn't for the boy—it was for himself.

So this is it. Training can't beat sheer talent after all...

"Yes... If he wasn't born with level 96 soul power, how could he bear the weight of two martial spirits?"

"If not for that, how could he endure a 100,000-year soul ring?"

Qian Daoliu staggered slightly as he stepped out of the Angel Temple. Sure, he was proud of his grandson's power—but honestly? This child's talent was too terrifying.

Meanwhile, Qian Renxue picked up the fallen Angel God statue. The number had already reset to zero, and she couldn't tell what had just happened. She leaned toward her little brother and whispered:

"Did we get in trouble again?"

"Grandpa's face didn't look too good~"

But Renfeng didn't care at all. With two gods fighting to give him their divine inheritance, his whole approach was simple: just coast through and enjoy it.

He opened his arms and threw himself into Qian Renxue's embrace again.

Her soft body once more wrapped around him, the scent of a young woman mixed with that sun-kissed angelic aura—it all filled his nose.

"Sis, you smell so good~"

Qian Renxue blushed a little and laughed:

"Okay okay, stop being silly. Just a little longer, okay?"

"I'll be going far away for a while~"
