Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 {Public Figures}

Xiao Mang began by teaching the girls various dance moves and poses that would help them command the stage. He demonstrated each move, his own movements fluid and confident.

"Yuna, you're our lead singer, so you need to project confidence and charisma," he instructed.

"Hold your head high, make eye contact with the audience, and own the stage."

Yuna nodded, determined to master the art of stage presence. She mimicked Xiao Mang's movements, trying to emulate his commanding aura.

"Mei Mei and Xiao Lili, you two are our backup singers and dancers," Xiao Mang continued.

"You need to support Yuna while also showcasing your own talents. Move in sync with each other and with the music."

The girls practiced for hours, their bodies aching from the intense training. But despite the exhaustion, their spirits remained high, fueled by their shared passion for music and their desire to succeed.

"Now remember when the Sky Festival is here, you guys will be a public figures, that if you become famous."

"Public figures what is that?" Yuna honestly asked as she eat a bag of chips.

Xiao Mang sighed, realizing that Yuna's innocence sometimes extended beyond her years. He sat down next to her, taking the bag of chips and setting it aside.

"A public figure is someone who is wellknown and influential in society," he explained patiently.

"They could be celebrities, politicians, or even athletes. People look up to them and pay attention to what they say and do."

Yuna's eyes widened as she processed this information. The thought of being watched and admired by so many people was both exciting and daunting.

"So... if we become famous, everyone will know about us?" she asked hesitantly.

"That's right," Xiao Mang confirmed.

"You'll have fans, but also critics and people who might want to use you for their own gain."

He looked at each of the girls seriously.

"Now I will tell you the main factors of a public figures."

Xiao Mang held up his fingers as he began to list the main factors of a public figure.

"First, you'll have fame and recognition. People will know your name and face, and they'll be interested in your life and career."

He paused, making sure the girls were following along.

"Second, you'll have influence. Your words and actions can inspire or persuade others. Fans will hang on to every word you say."

Yuna nodded slowly, understanding the weight of this responsibility.

"Third, you'll have a public image. This is how people perceive you based on what they see in the media or hear from others. It's important to maintain a positive image."

Mei Mei and Xiao Lili listened intently, their expressions serious as they absorbed this new information.

"And fourth," Xiao Mang continued.

"You'll have a team of people supporting you managers, agents, publicists. They'll help you navigate the ups and downs of fame."

He looked at each girl in turn.

"Do you understand what being a public figure means?" he asked.

"Yeah not as delicious as food," Yuna muttered and the others sighed only she can think about food at this moment.

"Alright you three go and eat," Xiao Mang said.

The girls headed out of the studio, their minds buzzing with the new information Xiao Mang had shared. As they walked down the bustling streets, the aroma of street food filled the air, making their stomachs growl.

"Let's get some dumplings!" Xiao Lili suggested, pointing to a nearby stall.

"Or maybe some noodles!" Mei Mei chimed in.

Yuna's eyes lit up at the mention of food. She scanned the various stalls, her nose twitching like a rabbit's.

"I want a big bowl of spicy hotpot!" she declared, dragging her friends towards a steamy pot of bubbling broth.

The three girls sat down at a table, eagerly digging into their food. Yuna slurped up a mouthful of noodles, savoring the fiery kick of the spices.

"This is so good," she moaned happily.

"You guys should try it!"

Mei Mei and Xiao Lili hesitantly took a bite, their eyes widening at the intense flavor.

"Yuna this so damn hot!" Mei Mei shouted as she drink the water.

"Mei Mei, no cursing!" Yuna said. She was a person who followed the monks way by heart! The other two aren't monks at all but Yuna who loves to follow rules didn't like other cursing but she never put it into thoughts. After eating so much food they went back to the studio. Xiao Mang waved the girls over and the three of them rushed over. The saw a magazine and it showed the Silver Moon which was Yang Ling group none of them cared at all knowing Yang Ling she was most likely getting more arrogant why care about that?

"We will do a photo shoot now tell me your nicknames I want you guys to remember it," Xiao Mang said. Mei Mei raised her hand remember her nickname that Xiao Mang gave her.

"Xiao Mang, my nickname is 'Melody Queen'!" Mei Mei exclaimed proudly.

"And I'm 'Dance Diva'!" Xiao Lili added, striking a dramatic pose.

All eyes turned to Yuna, waiting for her to reveal her nickname. She hesitated for a moment, her brow furrowing as she tried to remember.

"Um... 'Mysterious Muse'?" she said uncertainly.

Xiao Mang nodded approvingly.

"That's right. Now, let's get started on the photo shoot."

He gestured for the girls to gather around him as the photographer adjusted his camera.

"I want you three to stand together and look at the camera. Yuna, you're in the center since you're our lead singer. Mei Mei and Xiao Lili, flank her on either side."

The girls posed as instructed, their faces serious and focused. The photographer snapped several shots before Xiao Mang interrupted.

"Not bad, but we need more energy! Also we will take photos of each person," the photographer said eating up these photos. Xiao Mang smirked for him to be fifteen years old and doing this he is doing a pretty good job.

After a group photo Mei Mei went on first.

Mei Mei stepped up to the mark, her heart pounding with excitement and nerves. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself as the photographer positioned her.

"Okay, Mei Mei," Xiao Mang instructed.

"I want you to channel your inner 'Melody Queen'. Show us the power and passion in your voice through your expression."

Mei Mei nodded, closing her eyes for a moment to center herself. When she opened them again, there was a fierce determination in her gaze.

The photographer began snapping away, capturing Mei Mei from various angles. She struck pose after pose, her body moving fluidly and gracefully.

"That's it!" Xiao Mang encouraged.

"Now give me a closeup of those beautiful eyes."

Mei Mei gazed directly into the camera lens, her eyes sparkling with confidence and talent.
