Chapter 1 - The Siren Of Justice

"Is the camera ready?" Okay. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ZD7 TV. Tonight we will report that the serial killer or commonly called the Siren of Justice has been caught," said a news anchor.

South Zondalian, more precisely district 26 of Sousan City, was shocked by the capture of a serial killer who had been a terror in their city.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they were released from the overwhelming fear of this gruesome murder case.

They bowed in gratitude, as they no longer had to fear going out at night.

However, at the same time they also wondered what the Siren of Justice was all about.

They had only heard rumors that the serial killer was a beautiful woman. That's why she got the nickname Siren. But what she looked like or who she was. No one ever knew, even after two weeks of her arrest, not a single news portal had told them. Who is the woman behind the name Siren of Justice?

What did she look like or was she actually someone they knew?

However, behind it all was a trial that brought the Siren of Justice to the bench.

A beautiful woman, with blue eyes and wavy brown hair walked into the courtroom with her hands cuffed and led by two guards holding her arms.

As the trial began, the judge read out all of the defendant's charges for the serial murders she had committed.

"The defendant Selena Blackwell is charged with 29 counts of first-degree murder with elements of willfulness, mutilation, and premeditation over a period of just two years."

The woman smiled when her name was mentioned, along with the number of victims she had killed. It was as if she felt proud when her name was juxtaposed with the 29 victims.

The trial revealed that Selena was only 24 years old, and she was the youngest serial killer on trial with more than 10 victims.

Even the number of victims was far greater than her age.

And once the defendant was asked for a statement, her statement surprised several people in the court. Although they had expected Selene to answer in the way she did.

"Not guilty. I did it to avenge what the law could not touch. I tried to stop what you can't stop and I don't feel guilty about what I did," she replied.

The answer also caught the attention of a man sitting at the back of the court, with his arms folded across his chest and his brown eyes staring intently at the defendant.

Based on the answers she gave, along with the number of victims and the reasons why she did it, the prosecutor decided that Selene was a threat to the public.

After much discussion, the judge decided to send Selene to the most restrictive and dangerous prison outside of the Zondalian island nation of Redboilder Prison on Mackward Island.

Selene knew that she would eventually be sent to a super strict prison with maximum security. Moreover, the vast ocean surrounds the island and it feels so cold.

Even if anyone managed to get past the security system, they would have to swim thousands of meters to get to the main island, Zondalian. There are no other small islands around Mackward Island.

5 days after the trial, Selene was finally transferred to Redboiler Prison using a special ship. During her journey, it turned out that there were already rumors about her in the prison. But they didn't know that it was a woman they were talking about.

"I heard that there will be a new prisoner coming in later. The guards say that she has killed several people in a short period of time without getting caught," said one of the prisoners talking to another.

"I wonder what she's like. Is she really that tough or not? Sometimes the rumors from the warders aren't really true, are they?" replied another prisoner who joined the conversation.

They continued to talk about the Siren of Justice, without knowing who the person behind it was or the name of the new prisoner. What was clear was that they were waiting to find out about the new prisoner. Would he be their new toy or someone who would fight them later.

"No matter what she looks like, I will immediately destroy her and make her my doormat to get into my own cell!" said one of the other prisoners with a large body that was quite feared by the prisoners in the prison.

At exactly 12.03pm, Selene finally arrived on the island and entered the high-security prison. Two Military guard grabbed her arms and pulled her into the prison to meet the guards at the entrance.

"This will be your new home, until the next trial is held and you will also receive the results of the final trial here," said the guard as he checked Selene's documents.

"So your name is Selene Blackwell, 24 years old and killed 29 people in 2 years. Hmn... No wonder you got into this prison," said another guard.

They both seemed to belittle the woman in front of them by laughing at her. Saying that Selene would never get out of there, because it wasn't her who would kill the other prisoners. But she was the one who would be killed by the other prisoners if she got too close to them.

"You'd better not say that to her. We warn you not to speak carelessly about this prisoner," said the military member who brought Selene to the prison.

The two military members had warned them but they didn't listen.

Selene remained silent without saying anything and her facial expression looked so flat.

"Did you know that all the female prisoners in this prison only account for 30% of the hundreds of male prisoners?"

"So?" Selene asked them back briefly.

The short question made the guards feel uncomfortable and somewhat annoyed. They were expecting a reaction from Selene.

One of the guards approached her, then stood next to her and half-whispered.

"That means you have to be ready to be the plaything of the other prisoners or else the guards might start using you as their entertainment," he said and patted Selene's butt.

Reflexively and unexpectedly, Selene reacted by banging her head against the guard's head with force. Even though her hands were handcuffed, she immediately wrapped her arms around the guard's neck and pulled, strangling him from behind using the handcuff chain in her hands.

The other prison warders were shocked, and tried to calm Selene down. The two military member who had brought Selene to the prison in the first place immediately separated the two of them.

Due to the chaos that ensued, Selene was immediately taken to her cell block E. Given that Redboiler Prison is a mixed male and female prison and only accepts criminals with serious crimes.

The prison warders immediately felt quite frightened, as Selene's movements were fast enough for them to react.

"Didn't I warn you not to speak carelessly about her? Haven't you heard what she did to the 29 victims she killed?" asked one of the military members in front of them.

He walked up to the guard who had been belittling him.

"She dismembered people, separated their bodies from their bones and crushed their flesh to feed to wild animals."

Hearing that, the three prison guards at the entrance instantly turned pale. But that wasn't the worst thing they would hear afterward.

"Then she sent the heads of each of her victims to their families as gifts."
