Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE:AGE OF EMERGENCE

Many years ago, the world changed.

It began in the South—once a tranquil expanse of wild forests, vast mountains, and scattered human settlements. Without warning, a great rift tore through the skies above that region, splitting reality like fragile glass. From its glowing maw emerged beings the world had never known—creatures ancient and otherworldly. Dragons soared with thunderous wings, spirits danced like whispers on the wind, and monsters with forms that defied nature walked the earth.

But the creatures were not the only things that came through.

A strange, unseen energy followed in their wake, saturating the air, the land, the very bones of the world. Humans who came into contact with this force began to change. Slowly, subtly at first—then rapidly and irreversibly. This event, shrouded in myth and fear, came to be known as The Calamity.

When the rift vanished, it left behind something just as impossible: an entirely new landmass in the southern hemisphere, one that had not existed before. Now called the Draco Continent, it became the dominion of the dragons, whose dominance shaped the laws of that land. Around them, the elves, spirits, and other mystical creatures carved out territories of their own. Humans, for the most part, abandoned the South, unable—or perhaps unwilling—to challenge the power that now ruled there.

Yet the energy from the rift did not stay confined to the South. It spread like a pulse through the entire world, touching every corner of the continents. And everywhere it reached, it changed people.

In the North, humanity found itself transformed. Their bodies became stronger, faster, more resilient—some said they were touched by the gods themselves. This energy became known as Aura. A rare few learned to bend it to their will, developing techniques that allowed them to perform impossible feats. These techniques, refined and passed down through generations, became known as Bloodline Techniques, etched into the very lineage of their wielders.

To the West, the energy gave birth to something different. There, it manifested as Mana, a force that unlocked unique abilities within individuals. No two gifts were quite the same, yet many bore similar traits—flames, shadows, illusions, and more. These powers came to be known simply as Mana Skills, and entire cultures rose around the mastery and evolution of these abilities.

In the East, where the air was rich with ancient history and philosophical thought, the energy took a more intricate form. It was called Essence—a power that allowed its users to manipulate the elements and natural laws in complex, almost artistic ways. Those who harnessed it became Crafters, able to bend fire, shape stone, or weave wind like threads of an elaborate tapestry. Over time, these supernatural creations became known simply as Crafts.

And it is in the East, under the shadow of old empires and rising ambitions, where our story begins….
