Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Princess Silver Moon

Outside of Caesar's territory.

A group of people appeared somewhat disheveled, seemingly fleeing from enemy pursuit, but what they didn't know was that a powerful Red Dragon had already appeared in the Karl Mountains.

"These damned rebels!"

"Despicable rebels, they should go to Hell immediately!"

Among the crowd, two relatively sturdy knights were bandaging their wounds and cursing softly.

"I'm the one who got you involved." A beautiful woman wearing a crown showed a hint of sadness in her eyes. "If it weren't for me, Uncle Sith and the others wouldn't have died."

"Princess Diana!"

A knight who had lost an arm immediately widened his eyes. "This isn't your fault. It was clearly the despicable Duke Zijin who betrayed the kingdom's oath and launched a rebellion. This has nothing to do with you; it's all the fault of those rebels!"

"Yes, please cheer up, Your Highness!"

"Furthermore, Your Highness, you are a Spellcaster who inherited the King's bloodline. When the time is right, our ancestors' oath will allow us to reclaim everything we've lost!"

"Rebels will ultimately fall into the Abyss!"

Several knights comforted Diana. Although the enemy's pursuit was exceptionally fierce, the fact that the King's only bloodline managed to escape was fortunate enough.

Their Silver Moon Kingdom.

A major rebellion had just occurred, with the aristocratic class led by Duke Zijin overthrowing the King's rule. Fortunately, Diana had left the Royal Capital to visit a friend, otherwise, the King's bloodline would have been completely wiped out. However, they were also listed with a high bounty.

Two knights, two knight attendants.

The Silver Moon Kingdom's knight guard were all extremely loyal to the King, but most had been killed or injured. The remaining four were the only people she could rely on now.

"Thank you. May the great Goddess of Magic bless you."

Diana prayed.

Several knights bowed respectfully, because Diana was not only the King's daughter but also a noble and powerful Spellcaster.

As she chanted.

Bits of light fell on the knights like raindrops. Their injured areas were rapidly healing. This was the third-circle spell, Mass Healing.

The talent for being a Spellcaster is also quite rare among Humans.

Their status is also extremely high.

The larger and more complex the battlefield, the greater the role a Spellcaster can play. A well-prepared spell can often turn the tide of battle.

In the Silver Moon Kingdom.

Diana's talent was already very high. At the age of sixteen or seventeen, she had already become a third-circle mage, and becoming a mid-level mage was just around the corner. There was even a good chance of becoming a High-ranking Mage.

This was their hope for turning things around.

Once one becomes a High-ranking Mage, their status within the Human Kingdom is even nobler than that of a King. It was only because the High-ranking Mage of the Silver Moon Kingdom had recently died of old age that Duke Zijin dared to launch a rebellion.

Just as hope arose in their hearts.

Suddenly, a piercing shriek echoed in the sky, almost unbearable to the eardrums.

"Be on guard!"

Two knights roared, quickly drew their weapons, and along with the two knight attendants, guarded Princess Diana, glaring at the approaching enemy.

But soon.

They fell into despair.

Because it was a squad of Griffon Knights. This was Duke Zijin's ace legion, and each one was an elite among knights. Ten Griffon Knights surrounded them.

Clearly.

This Duke Zijin was a ruthless character. He didn't underestimate Princess Diana, who had fled, and directly dispatched his ace legion to extinguish the Silver Moon Kingdom's last hope.

"Your Highness, run!"

Two knights roared, gathered their courage, and blocked in front of Diana. Compared to their brave actions, the other two knight attendants were already trembling with fear and had no desire to fight.

"Can you escape?"

The Griffin Knight Captain, a tall and burly knight, said coldly.

His three-meter-long knight's spear was inlaid with a cyan gem. As he exerted force, strong wind blades were discharged around it, emitting a mournful sound of space being cut.

Rip!

The thrown knight's spear pierced through the resisting person with just one strike, nailing one of the resisting knights to the ground.

"Third-circle spell, Chain Lightning!"

Diana had no time for grief and was ready to fight with all her might.

The profound incantation belonging to the Conjuration school was uttered word by word, drawing on magic power, like telling the surrounding current, and it was abruptly released towards the Griffin Knight Captain.

Chain Lightning sounds like a spell from the Evocation school.

Its power is immense.

But it is actually from the Conjuration school. This involves controlling energy, and the Conjuration school is also the richest and most comprehensive school, including abilities such as healing, teleportation, summoning creatures, and so on.

Chain Lightning, as a third-circle spell.

It is also an extremely powerful spell among spells of the same level, capable of causing significant damage to multiple units. Even a group of low-level warriors could be wiped out.

Bang!

The unexpected Chain Lightning exploded, engulfing the sky like a thunderstorm, illuminating the area with an incredibly dazzling blue light.

The next moment.

Diana seemed to have been drained of strength, because the scene before her completely shattered her will to resist.

Fourth-circle spell - Shield of Faith!

Mid-level spell!

Just breaking through this kind of fourth-circle spell would consume most of Diana's magic power, but these knights wouldn't give her a chance to continue casting. Once a melee professional gets close, even a Spellcaster will be flustered, and her guards clearly couldn't buy her enough time.

"Spellcasters are indeed powerful."

The Griffin Knight Captain sighed slightly, crushing a spell scroll in his hand. Out of apprehension towards Spellcasters, how could their preparations not be thorough?

If struck by Chain Lightning.

Even he, a strong mid-level warrior, could be severely injured.

A moment later.

Diana's guards were all dead.

The Griffin Knight Captain looked down at the former Princess Diana, raising his spear high, his eyes extremely cold: "Princess Diana, farewell..."

For a talented Spellcaster.

Duke Zijin had no intention of subduing her. His order was simple – kill them all.

Facing death.

The only thing Diana could do was close her eyes.

Whoosh—

The strong wind howled, lifting her silver hair and delicate skirt.

Death did not descend.

Noticing the change, Diana slowly opened her eyes. The Griffon Knight squad before her all had drastically changed expressions, looking at something across from them with some terror.

That was an incredibly large Dragon.

Each of its deep red Dragon scales was so lifelike. At close range, the overwhelming oppressive force was almost palpable, washing over them and making everyone present feel as if they had fallen into the Abyss.

A Dragon, and a Red Dragon at that!

As the head of the Five-Colored Dragons, the Red Dragon has always been synonymous with destruction and evil!
