Chapter 4 - Chapter Five: The First Confrontation and the Escape

A fierce battle erupted between Lux and Celina in the cramped data room. Celina was astonishingly fast, her movements precise and deadly. She used advanced martial arts, every strike aimed to kill him.

"I suspected you from the start, agent. Your actions weren't normal," Celina said, dodging a powerful punch from Lux, then countering with a high kick that nearly struck his head.

Lux defended intelligently, using Raven's immense physical strength to block her attacks. He analyzed her fighting style, looking for weaknesses. Celina was a top-tier fighter, but she expected him to fight recklessly like the original Raven. However, Lux fought with cunning, balancing offense and defense, trying to wear her down.

"Are you trying to escape your past, Raven?" Celina sneered, delivering a rapid series of punches. "There's no escape from the Shadow!"

Lux seized a moment of hesitation from Celina and delivered a powerful punch to the device on her wrist—the device that tracked his movements. The device shattered, and its signal ceased.

"What have you done?!" Celina shrieked in rage.

"No one can control me!" Lux growled in Raven's angry voice, trying to conceal his true identity.

This was a huge gamble, but a necessary one. Without the tracking device, he was free to act.

Suddenly, alarms blared throughout the base. The sound of the device shattering had alerted the guards.

"You idiot! You've done it now!" Celina shouted, summoning automated guards. "Nowhere for you to run!"

Lux had no time to think. He had to escape. He lunged towards a massive window in the data room, shattering it with his incredible strength. He leaped from a dizzying height, using his superhuman abilities to cling to the base's exterior walls, then climbed down.

The base was built into the side of a massive mountain in a desolate area. As he descended, he saw flying vehicles pursuing him from above, their searchlights scanning the darkness below.

Lux successfully reached the ground and plunged into the dense forest surrounding the base. The darkness was absolute, and the trees were strangely shaped, with gleaming metallic leaves.

As he ran, he heard strange sounds coming from deep within the forest: unintelligible whispers, and the flapping of wings in the darkness. Lux remembered the files on demons and vampires. Was he in their territory now?

Suddenly, he felt an immense energy behind him. He quickly turned to find himself face-to-face with a colossal creature, with leathery black wings and glowing red eyes. It was one of the demons. Its appearance was terrifying, possessing sharp claws and a mouth full of fangs.

"Fresh meat..." the demon snarled in a deep, terrifying voice. "I smelled you the moment you set foot on this land."

Lux had no choice but to fight again. But this time, he wasn't fighting for a Shadow organization mission; he was fighting for his life. He had to prove to himself that he could survive in this strange and dangerous world.

As he faced the demon, one question came to mind: Where would he go? And who could he trust in this world full of secrets and dangers?
