At this moment, inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters:
How is Hydra still around? And why have I never heard the name Whitehall before?
Nick Fury frowned deeply as he stared at the chat channel.
The sudden emergence of the Marvel List had exposed many gaps and hidden flaws.
Now that it was confirmed that the Hydra organization still existed in this world, he had to test a new hypothesis.
With that thought, Nick Fury typed a question into the chat:
[Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. – Nick Fury]: Erik Magneto and Charles – Professor X, right? Have either of you ever heard of an organization called Hydra? Or one called S.H.I.E.L.D.?
[Magneto – Erik]: Hydra? Sounds like some petty organization—I've never heard of it. And S.H.I.E.L.D.? Sounds like some government body, but I've never heard of that either. @Charles, you're closer to the formal sectors. Ever come across it?
[Professor X – Charles]: Hydra? I'm certain it's not a serious organization. I've used Cerebro to scan the globe and never detected anything by that name. As for S.H.I.E.L.D., I doubt there's any official entity with that name in our world.
[Iron Man – Tony Stark]: @Nick Fury, stop digging around here. Those organizations you're talking about might not be known to the public. Maybe they've simply never heard of them. If you're looking for recognition, just ask about Stark Industries—or better yet, my name directly.
Tony Stark typed this confidently into the chat. He didn't consider it bragging—at least not in his mind. Sure, some people might not know his name, but those were likely people with zero access to modern media or technology.
Anyone with even basic exposure to the internet would surely recognize Tony Stark.
[Human Torch]: Tony Stark? Never heard of him.
[Professor X]: Neither have I. The name doesn't ring a bell.
Nick Fury slowly nodded to himself as he read their replies.
It was now confirmed: Erik Magneto and Professor X were not from the same universe as him. And likely, Human Torch wasn't from their universe either.
Even Tony Stark seemed a bit taken aback by their answers.
"Parallel universes actually exist? That's... incredible," Tony muttered.
For a scientist like him, confirming the existence of alternate realities was a groundbreaking discovery—an enormous leap forward in scientific exploration.
[Isack Leclerc – Lord of the Celestial Dome]: Isn't it obvious? Magneto and Professor X are in the same universe, Human Torch is in another, we—Hydra and Thor—are in the same universe, and Venom must be in a separate parallel one. So, there are currently four universes represented in this chat.
Upon seeing Isack's message, Nick Fury quickly responded, suspiciously:
"And how do you know that?"
The moment he noticed the title "Lord of the Celestial Dome," Nick's irritation grew. He held no affection for people who gave themselves grandiose titles like "lord" or "king."
[Isack Leclerc – Lord of the Celestial Dome]: Because all of you are under my surveillance.
Isack's calm, confident tone carried a chilling message.
All of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s activities were being monitored!
Reading that, Nick Fury gripped the armrest of his chair tightly.
S.H.I.E.L.D. is fully compromised? Impossible. That's insane!
He was disturbed, unable to accept the weight of that truth.
And if what Isack said was true, it was indeed a terrifying revelation.
Now that he had fully grasped the function of the Marvel List, Isack had no plans of hiding anymore. With the current power of the Celestial Dome, he was confident he could secure a spot on the list.
Whether he was exposed now or later didn't matter. His low-profile strategy had already failed. It was time to break free.
After hiding in the shadows for years, his true nature was ready to emerge.
Back at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters…
Sweat beaded down Nick Fury's forehead. He immediately called out to his assistant:
"Hill, I want everything you can find on this so-called Lord of the Celestial Dome!" he said sternly.
Hill nodded. "I already had our team start gathering intel the moment Isack Leclerc began speaking. Unfortunately, aside from Thor and Odin, we found no information on any of the others."
"And by the way, it's worth mentioning: the only records we have on Thor and Odin come from Norse mythology."
Nick Fury: "…"
As every major force was still reeling from the revelations brought on by the Marvel List, it was finally time to unveil the top ten most powerful organizations…
[BOOM!]
[Marvel List Notice: Time is up! The list is now released!]
[Ranked #10 among the most powerful organizations – S.H.I.E.L.D.]
[Organization Summary: Known as the Shield of Humanity. Their influence spans across the globe, consisting of elite agents from all nations.]
[Note: Significant hidden dangers exist within this organization, which is why its ranking is lower than its actual strength.]
Upon the announcement of the tenth rank, a pop-up appeared on the Marvel List, showing a series of visual highlights:
Photos of the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, three invisible Trident-class flying aircraft carriers, various advanced technologies, and action shots of top agents like Hawkeye and Black Widow during missions. There were even images of different S.H.I.E.L.D. branches responding to supernatural events.
Even average viewers—those with no clue about the current drama—were beginning to grasp S.H.I.E.L.D.'s true strength. This was in stark contrast to the general public, who weren't qualified to speak in the Marvel List channel.
High-ranking officials from various countries, those with access to classified intelligence, already had a basic understanding of what S.H.I.E.L.D. was capable of—especially since its annual budget was reviewed during the Global Directors' Summit.
[Ranking Reward: Choose one of the following two options]
Option 1: Resurrection Card (Allows the revival of any deceased target)
Option 2: One-time Super Body Enhancement (Greatly enhances the chosen individual's physical capabilities)
