*Chapter 8: Iyan Prayer*
One night, Iyan fell to her knees and prayed to the *God of Ago, her voice soft but full of longing.
"Please," she whispered, "bring back the love of iyango and Amoni. Let the world see their love again."
That night, she had a dream.
In the dream, she stood in a glowing garden beneath a silver sky. There, before her, she saw two spirits—*iyango and Amoni*—walking toward each other, eyes locked in pure love. Their hands reached out, but just before they could touch, a gust of wind pushed them apart. The dream faded, and Iyanwoke up with tears in her eyes.
"Why do I keep seeing them?" she asked herself. "Why me?"
She didn't understand why she kept having these dreams—visions of lovers from a thousand years ago. But she felt drawn to them, called by a force greater than her.
Determined, Iyan left her village and journeyed across valleys and hills, until she reached the *Desert of Echoes*. She believed that only in that sacred place could she find a way to reunite the spirits.
After days of walking beneath the scorching sun, she finally entered the *Forest of Ten Spirits*—a mystical realm said to guard the soul of Amoni. The trees whispered secrets of the past, and the wind carried voices of forgotten gods.
There, she met a *mysterious witch*, cloaked in black feathers. The witch told her, "You wish to bring iyango and Amoni together? Then you must first understand love that defies time."
The witch led her to an ancient shrine, where *two saints* stood silently, carved in stone—*guardians who once worshipped iyango and Amoni*. Around the shrine, followers laid flowers, whispering prayers for true love.
"For those who believe in love," the witch said, "iyango and Amoni are more than a story. They are a blessing."
Iyan knelt before the shrine and whispered, "I will find a way to bring them back. Even if it takes my soul."
