Roy Mansion – Late Evening
The elders had long retreated to their rooms, leaving the younger Roys behind in the living area. Eva, Diya, Kiara, and Karan sat huddled together on the plush sofas, plotting the impossible.
A party.
The only problem? One major obstacle stood in their way—Adhvik Roy.
Their ever-so-strict elder brother was never going to allow them to go clubbing at night. Still, the four weren't ready to give up so easily. They began whispering and nudging each other, deciding who would dare to ask him.
Karan smirked and glanced toward Kiara.
Kiara narrowed her eyes. "What? You think I should talk to Adhvik bhaiya? Are you all planning to send me to the lion's den?"
Diya gave her the puppy eyes. "Please, Kiara…"
Eva chimed in, "Come on! He can't say no to you."
Karan added with a grin, "You're the sweet little princess of the house, aren't you?"
Faced with their combined efforts, Kiara sighed dramatically. "Fine. I'll go. But if I don't return alive, tell Mom I love her."
They giggled as they made their way to the fourth floor.
While the first floor of Roy Mansion held guest rooms, a private theatre, and the family library, the third belonged to the younger Roys. The entire fourth floor, however, was Adhvik's fortress—his bedroom, walk-in closet, attached study, gym, and even a private art studio no one dared enter.
Kiara knocked softly and entered.
Kiara: "Bhai, you're not asleep yet, are you?"
Adhvik (looking up from his laptop): "And you haven't gone to bed either? Your exams are coming up. How's preparation going?"
Kiara (flashing a sweet smile): "Actually… about that. Since exams are starting soon, I thought—why not party tonight? Just to relax before the chaos begins?"
Adhvik arched an eyebrow. "I know exactly whose idea this is. And the three of you standing outside can stop eavesdropping and come in. But I'm still not saying yes."
Busted.
Eva, Diya, and Karan sheepishly walked in.
Eva: "Please, bhai…"
Diya: "Come with us! That way, nothing can go wrong."
All three, together: "Pleaaaseee!"
Adhvik stared at their hopeful faces and sighed. "Fine. Just this once."
Cheers erupted.
And soon, the five of them were getting ready to head to The Jeffrey Club. Adhvik, also called Kunal, his ever-enthusiastic best friend, to join them.
Singh Villa – Same Time
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Aadhya Singh and Ruhi Maan sat in the living room, watching a movie.
Ruhi: "Aadhu, from tomorrow we're officially joining Roy Group. We won't get time for anything. Let's party tonight?"
Aadhya: "We can't go without Bhai's permission."
Ruhi (grinning): "I've got that covered."
She quickly dialed Aarav's assistant, knowing her brother's phone would be switched off during his shoot. Moments later, Aarav Singh was on the line.
Ruhi: "Bhai, please let us go out just for tonight. We won't stay long."
Aarav: "It's too late, Ruhi."
Ruhi: "We'll take security with us, promise!"
Aarav paused. "Put Aadhu on."
Aadhya: "Yes, Bhai?"
Aarav (sighing): "Fine. But with guards. No drinking. No drama."
Aadhya (smiling): "Love you, Bhai."
Aarav: "Love you too, beta. Be safe. Come home soon."
Thirty minutes later, the girls were dressed and en route to the club.
Their bond wasn't ordinary.
Aadhya and Aarav had lost their parents in a car crash when they were just five and ten. Raised by their grandparents, they had survived heartbreak after heartbreak. Three years ago, their grandmother passed away, and soon after, their grandfather followed. Since then, Aarav had been everything to Aadhya—father, brother, and protector.
Ruhi had her scars. Adopted by a kind single mother from an orphanage, she found her family in Aadhya. When Ruhi's mother died of a brain tumor, Aadhya's family had taken her in. Now, she wasn't just a friend—she was family.
The Jeffrey Club – Midnight
Aadhya and Ruhi entered the pulsating club, heading straight for the bar. They ordered low-alcohol drinks, then moved to the dance floor, letting the music wash over them.
Minutes later, the Roy siblings and Kunal arrived.
Being owners of the club, the Roys had a private lounge on the upper deck with a view of both the bar and the dance floor. A manager personally escorted them in. Karan went to order drinks while the rest settled in.
Adhvik received a call and stepped aside to take it.
Downstairs, Aadhya and Ruhi were dancing carefree when Aakash Malhotra approached. The mayor's son—infamous for his behavior and multiple harassment allegations—had set his eyes on Aadhya.
He moved closer, brushing too near.
Aadhya and Ruhi tried to ignore him, but when Aakash deliberately touched Aadhya inappropriately, she slapped him. Hard.
The music seemed to stop.
Gasps filled the room. Even the Roys looked up from their lounge.
Adhvik's eyes locked on Aadhya.
In that moment, the world faded. Her confidence, her defiance—it stirred something deep within him. So much so, he didn't even hear his phone ring again.
Then came the second slap.
And the third.
Aadhya's voice, clear and bold:
"Aadhya Singh doesn't have time for cheap things."
Aakash fumed. "You'll regret this! Girls line up to sleep with me!"
Aadhya (deadly calm): "You don't even know who you are. Why would I care?"
Just as Aakash lunged toward her, Roy's security guards appeared, stopping him cold.
Adhvik had summoned them.
Ruhi tugged Aadhya away as Aadhya's phone rang—it was Aarav. They panicked and slipped out quickly, avoiding Adhvik's sight.
Back inside, Aakash raged. "Let me go! Do you know who I am?!"
Adhvik (calmly, from the lounge): "What matters isn't who you are—it's who you dared to touch."
The silence that followed was deafening.
Eva (whispering): "Did Bhai… just say that?"
Kunal (eyes wide): "Am I dreaming? Is this our Adhvik?"
Adhvik (to the guards): "Make sure this man never touches another woman again."
Guards: "Yes, sir."
Karan (shocked): "I'm pretty sure I've entered another dimension."
Diya (grinning): "Nope. You saw it too. Bhai's in love."
Kiara (blushing): "Looks like we're getting a bhabhi soon."
Adhvik stood and left the club without another word. The others followed behind, buzzing with excitement.
But one thing was clear—
Adhvik Roy's heart had skipped a beat tonight.
And Aadhya Singh, with her fearless fire, had unknowingly left a mark on the man who never bent for anyone.
