Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Master and Student – The Will of Qingling

Kushina leapt to her feet the moment she heard those words.

Without hesitation, she threw a punch straight at Qingling's massive fox face.

"You idiot! Who do you think you're talking to?! I'm not someone you can mess with!"

"Madam," Qingling replied lazily, "your little punch doesn't even tickle."

He lay there calmly, watching the mother and son with a neutral gaze.

Only after Naruto wiped his tears and said goodbye to Kushina did he step forward and approach seriously.

"Kurama, if you dare hurt Naruto, I won't let you off!"

Kushina clenched her little fists, her red hair floating wildly—ready to explode with anger.

"I look forward to our next meeting, my lady,"

Qingling said with his usual teasing tone.

Only after Kushina's chakra faded did he lower his head to look at young Naruto.

The boy's eyes were red, tears still fresh on his cheeks.

He stared back stubbornly, refusing to cry further.

Such restraint—for a child.

"Cry if you want, Naruto."

"Swear yourself to me, and no one in this world will ever hurt you again."

"Together, we'll flatten the shinobi world—and carry out the will of Qingling!"

Qingling extended a single claw, its tip sharp as a blade, capable of shredding any living thing.

Naruto bit his lip and slammed his fist against the claw.

The oath was made.

"I, Naruto Uzumaki, take Qingling as my master!"

"We'll flatten the shinobi world—and spread Qingling's will!"

In that moment, the unsealed Naruto began absorbing the immense chakra of the Uzumaki bloodline that had always belonged to him.

Qingling also linked him to a portion of the Nine-Tails' chakra, boosting his power even further.

"Feel it. Get used to your chakra, Naruto. Use the jutsu you've already learned—you'll find they come far easier now."

"Alright! I'll give it a try!"

Wiping away the last of his tears, Naruto returned to his usual cheerful self.

He enthusiastically performed hand seals, running through every technique he'd learned before.

Even his Shadow Clone Jutsu had become smoother!

"System has detected increased fusion between host and jinchūriki. Unlocking Starter Reward Pack."

Reward 1:Flying Thunder God Technique — accelerated mastery, now fully learned.

Reward 2:Nine-Tails Mode — evolved into Perfect Jinchūriki state. The host is now in full control.

Huh?

A small orange bead materialized in Qingling's paw.

The moment it appeared, it formed a spiritual link between him and Naruto—

—And Perfect Jinchūriki status was instantly achieved.

"I feel… so strong now!"

Naruto exclaimed, overwhelmed by the sudden power surging through him.

"Try syncing fully with the power I've just given you."

"Fuse with it."

"Okay!"

Under Qingling's guidance, Nine-Tails chakra rose around Naruto, enveloping him as he shifted into Nine-Tails Mode.

The transformation continued to refine itself—until he had completely entered the Perfect Jinchūriki state.

Now, in theory, he could ignore genjutsu, and both taijutsu and ninjutsu would be vastly improved in this form.

The connection between the tailed beast and jinchūriki had become nearly flawless.

"Not bad. With this, your healing, stamina, and combat potential will be even greater. It's time to start learning some basic taijutsu and ninjutsu too."

Qingling had already mastered the Eight Gates and the Flying Thunder God technique—and was ready to teach them both to Naruto.

"Soon, you'll be assigned to Team 7. But before that, you need to build up your foundation. Don't let your guard down, Naruto."

"Got it, Master Kurama!"

Naruto trained diligently. For some reason, both his taijutsu and ninjutsu had improved drastically.

In truth—

He'd always had great potential.

It was just that his chakra had been chaotic before—making him appear untalented.

He trained through the night, straight until dawn.

Morning.

After a quick wash-up, Naruto stretched and bounced back to full energy.

Today, he'd be taking his ninja registration photo—officially becoming a genin.

As he got up, he felt chakra flowing endlessly through his body, filling him with a deep sense of security.

"Kurama… Should I keep the ninjutsu and taijutsu you taught me hidden? I mean, should I avoid using them casually?"

For once, Naruto sounded cautious and thoughtful.

"Nope!"

Qingling replied leisurely, lying down with his eyes closed.

"Use them however you want. The more people see them, the better. Burn through my chakra—use it all if you can!"

"But if I run out of chakra, I'll die!"

Naruto said nervously.

"Nope. Trust me—you won't. Just fight to your heart's content, Naruto."

Not die? Use jutsu freely?

Could that be true?

Even though he had only scratched the surface of Qingling's teachings, he already felt incredibly strong.

Stepping outside, Naruto walked alone, hands in his pockets, carefully placing his ninja forehead protector onto his head.

He hadn't planned on wearing it just yet.

But after taking a master's, he was simply too happy—and couldn't resist.

As he walked through the streets, the joy gradually faded.

He put on a casual face, pretending not to care.

After a few steps, he began to notice the strange looks people were giving him.

"Kurama… are you there?" he whispered.

"I'm sleeping. And call me Teacher! Teacher Qingling!"

"Got it, Teacher Qingling!"

Confirming Qingling was still with him, Naruto continued walking, more confident now.

There was still so much to do.

Hopefully, no weirdos will show up today.

Inside the sealed space—

Qingling yawned and watched Naruto like a sleepy babysitter.

He loved sleeping.

Whenever there was time, he'd find a way to nap.

If not for that laziness, he wouldn't have ended up transmigrating in his sleep!

He lounged, thinking:

Come on, Naruto. Go challenge some strong opponents already!

With all this Nine-Tails chakra, if you don't face real enemies, how will you burn through it all?

Halfway through the thought—

He started snoring.

This was the life.

A tailed beast, fully in control of his jinchūriki form, free to come and go as he pleased.

And now that he'd taken Naruto as his disciple, he was passing down all his ridiculous suicide-level jutsu and taijutsu without reservation.

Let him go wild.

Even in his sleep, Qingling muttered dreamily:

"Don't move, Naruto… Let them kill your master instead…"

In the dark void of the sealed space—

Qingling stretched lazily.

Feels like I slept forever… Is it the next day already?

He opened his eyes and looked through Naruto's perspective.

Beside him stood Sakura and Sasuke. In front of them—

Kakashi Hatake, the Copy Ninja.

Kakashi was explaining the rules for their upcoming trial—only those who could grab a bell from him would be accepted into the squad.

Qingling listened, completely confused.

What's going on?!

Naruto has already met Konohamaru? Used the Harem Jutsu on Ebisu?!

Even… had his first kiss with Sasuke?!

"How long did I sleep?!"

Was it possible he slept himself to death in his last life?

Qingling blinked, regaining full awareness just as—

SWOOSH!

Everyone sprang into action, rushing to try and grab the bells from Kakashi.

They failed—every single one of them.

The difference in strength was just too great.

This was Kakashi after all—someone who could fight just about anyone evenly.

"Naruto, have you been practicing your taijutsu and ninjutsu these past few days?"

"I have!"

The moment Naruto heard Qingling's voice, his eyes lit up.

"I get it now, Master Qingling! You want me to use the Eight Gates to match Kakashi-sensei's speed!"

"Use Shadow Clones to distract, then strike with Flying Thunder God for a surprise attack!"

Qingling responded flatly:

"No. I mean—just use Nine-Tails Mode directly."

"Huh?"

Naruto blinked.

Wasn't that his secret, ultimate move?

Was he allowed to use something that powerful… this early?!
