I clicked off the ad—not bothering a single thing as I continued to browse for ideas on the internet. Hours passed and I still couldn't think of anything that'll help me.
While at class—i couldn't bring myself to stay awake to the point my classmate would try to wake me up every second.
"Hey Benny~"
I felt a slight nudge on my shoulder, as I opened my eyes I noticed my classmate trying wake me up.
"Was I dozing off again?"
"Yeah, you've been like this for the past few days, you're letting this tournament take a toll on you."
She's right, at the very start of of this competition, I haven't been able to sleep well.
I adjusted myself onto my seat as I try to listen to the professor but his voice slowly blends into the background. I forced myself to stay awake the whole class and forgot to listen.
After that, I was on my way to go to the next class but a there's a group of people infront of me, the type of people who would gather up and walk as slow as possible.
I tried to slip past them until their conversation caught my attention.
"Thanks to Claire I managed to finally build the wheels of my bot"
"Dude, bring your project to my dad's werehouse tomorrow, my dad knows stuff about this."
It looks like everyone that joined the competition had great connections, meanwhile me, I'm still trying to find a design idea all alone.
I barely paid any attention to the next classes because I was basically half asleep all the time. As soon as it all ended, I went straight back to my dorm.
I wanted to sleep but, that's basically sacrificing a whole day without doing any progress to my project.
But... How can I progress though?
I've spent the rest of my week trying to find ideas, while others already started building.
I opened my laptop and tried to look at my friends list to check if I have someone to talk to. I have some friends but, It's not like I'm close with them.
I chose to participate alone, it's my fault...
But...
Is it possible to not do this alone?
I came back to the site where the previous ad popped out, I registered and clicked it open.
