Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Your Destiny Will Be Determined by Yourself

When the Nine Tails heard the words "hate Konoha," a glint of cruelty flashed in his eyes.

Once upon a time, he had followed the Sage of Six Paths and lived a peaceful life. Everything changed when a brat with the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan suddenly appeared.

That brat had the nerve to ambush a tailed beast that had lived for hundreds of years. And to make matters worse, he didn't just defeat the Nine Tails—he enslaved him, making him his mount! That's right, his mount—not partner, not ally, not even pet. Just a beast to be ridden into battle!

From that moment, Nine Tails was forced to sign what could only be called a "sales contract."

Thank goodness he was a male fox. If he'd been female, the humiliation would have been even worse—ridden day and night. How could he show his face in front of the other tailed beasts after that?

He thought that was the worst it could get... but he was wrong.

The first time he was summoned by Uchiha Madara, it wasn't just to fight. He found himself facing none other than Senju Hashirama!

Nine Tails would never forget the terrifying image of that massive wooden Buddha statue. Its thousand arms struck so fast and hard that the Nine Tails was utterly confused within seconds. In that moment, he even questioned whether he was still a tailed beast. Who was the monster now?

Hashirama was absurdly strong. He crushed both Madara and Nine Tails together, leaving no room for resistance.

And yet—he had the nerve to shout, "Stop it! I don't want to fight you!" while beating them senseless. The gentler he spoke, the harder he hit. It was psychological warfare at its finest.

Since then, whenever Nine Tails so much as thinks of Senju Hashirama, his fur trembles involuntarily.

After Madara's death, Nine Tails was sealed by the Senju into the stomach of a member of the Uzumaki clan.

From that day forward, his world turned into darkness. Gone were the days of running free with the other tailed beasts under the setting sun—his youth lost to history.

Except for One Tail. That idiot still needed a beating.

Being sealed inside the Uzumaki was maddening enough, but what annoyed him even more were the so-called Jinchūriki who followed.

"What did I even do wrong?" Nine Tails often wondered. "So I have a little more Chakra than others. Is that a crime?"

If they had the guts, they'd go and confront the Sage of Six Paths himself. Why take it out on him?

Sure, it was the Sage who split the Ten Tails into nine beasts. But the way Nine Tails saw it, he did nothing wrong.

One Tail got one part, Two Tails got another, and so on. He just happened to work harder than the other eight. Was that really his fault?

Then, just when he thought salvation had come, a masked man appeared.

But no—behind that mask was the dreaded red eye again!

Another damn Uchiha.

Nine Tails had seen enough of those eyes for a lifetime. He never wanted to see another Sharingan again.

But the boy in front of him now—Naruto Uzumaki—was different.

He was from the Uzumaki clan, yes, but he didn't have the cursed Sharingan. Maybe, just maybe, Nine Tails had a chance with this one.

After running through all these memories and frustrations in his mind, the Nine Tails came to a decision.

He snorted coldly and slowly closed his eyes.

He didn't say a word—but Uzumaki Naruto smiled knowingly.

The deal was done.

Naruto opened his eyes to see the familiar ceiling of his room once again. It was late at night, the moon dim and stars scattered across the sky.

He stood by the window, looking down at the quiet village of Konoha. His gaze was no longer filled with wonder or longing—it now carried a faint, simmering anger.

Words echoed in his mind:

"Demon fox."

"Monster."

"Murderer."

"Disgusting freak."

These words had been hurled at him for as long as he could remember, and now they rang louder than ever.

Naruto slowly raised his hand and focused on the Chakra in his body.

For so long, Nine Tails' Chakra had interfered with his own. Most of his energy was spent just trying to suppress the beast, leaving him drained and far weaker than he should've been.

But now… now, his Chakra flowed freely, like a storm after a drought. It was still nothing compared to the Nine Tails' power, but it was a start.

He didn't sleep that night.

Sitting cross-legged on his bed, he began refining Chakra with quiet determination.

A breeze blew in from the window, ruffling his golden hair, but his face remained serious and focused.

From the live broadcast screen:

Sakura: "Is this really Naruto? He's actually focusing on training?"

Shikamaru: "Since when did Naruto have brains? He always relied on brute strength."

Naruto: "...Hey!"

Naruto: "That's not me!"

Tenten: "It's Naruto from another world."

Fourth Raikage: "He's teamed up with the Nine Tails? Looks like Konoha's in trouble."

Orochimaru: "Isn't this all thanks to my dear teacher Hiruzen?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen: "What does this have to do with me?"

Orochimaru: "Oh, you know very well. Naruto is the son of a hero, yet the whole village treats him like a monster. That kind of emotional manipulation only works if he's naive. What if he wasn't?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen: "So is that why you defected?"

Orochimaru: "No. I believe in science, sensei. One day, I'll prove that the future of the ninja world is scientific evolution!"

Minato Namikaze: "I still believe that Naruto—any Naruto—is kind at heart. If he ever attacked Konoha, it would be out of pain, not hatred."

Ohnoki: "If you ask me, Nine Tails should've been entrusted to Iwagakure. None of this would've happened!"

Deidara: "Old man, you really think you could've handled it?"

Uchiha Madara: "Ohnoki, don't be stupid."

As soon as Madara spoke, Ohnoki, who had just typed out a long brag about using Dust Release to kill Nine Tails in one blow, quickly deleted it.

Because he remembered.

He was only ten years old when he stood before Uchiha Madara—trembling, helpless, insignificant.

Madara had invaded Iwagakure alone. The only thing that spared them from complete destruction was invoking the name of Senju Hashirama.

That fear—that shame—still haunted Ohnoki to this day.

Meanwhile, Naruto's life in the black-frame world continued.

His days had become routine but purposeful.

By day, he fished and grilled food in the back mountains, refining his Chakra and living off the land.

By night, he returned home, ate instant noodles, and sometimes chatted with Nine Tails—though the fox usually ignored him and went straight to sleep, ears drooped.

Naruto should have grown up as the son of a hero.

But something had gone wrong.

He was hated and rejected by the villagers—despite the fact that his parents had died protecting them.

He was even forced to become the container of the Nine Tails.

Worse, even after he came of age, no one had stepped forward to guide him.

The basics of Chakra refinement had been taught to him half-heartedly by the Third Hokage, almost as an afterthought.

But Naruto no longer held any gratitude toward Hiruzen.

He now understood the truth:

Konoha's top leadership was behind it all.

The villagers may have been ignorant—but the Hokage and the elders? They knew everything.

They intentionally hid his parentage.

They let him grow up lonely, mocked, and unloved.

They even subtly encouraged the idea that he was a monster.

In truth, Nine Tails was a victim too.

It wasn't his fault.

Everything was orchestrated by that masked man with the blood-red eyes.

Even Nine Tails had come to respect Kushina and Minato as a couple—brave, powerful, loving.

And yet both Naruto and Nine Tails were left to carry the weight of hatred and fear.

Though Nine Tails hadn't told Naruto everything, bits and pieces had come out in their conversations.

And with each new truth, Naruto's hatred for Konoha grew deeper.

One day…

He would bring justice to those who wronged him.

Once, his destiny had been dictated by others.

But from now on…

His destiny would be determined by himself.
