Chapter 7 - The Sword and the Song

⚔️ Vanyadesh: Swordplay & Sky Eyes

Devsena stood under the open sky, the sun kissing her armor as she swung her sword in sharp, fluid motions. Fire flickered at her fingertips, not from anger this time… but control.

"Good," came a voice.

"But your footing's too royal. Wanna learn to fight like a rogue?"

She turned to find Veer, arms crossed, smirking.

"Are you offering to teach me?"

"I'm offering to survive your sword," he winked.

They circled each other, blades raised.

Sparks flew. Literally. Each clash of their swords sent tiny firebursts into the air — but Veer never flinched. His calm, breezy movements balanced Devsena's fierce fire.

Their blades stopped mid-air, eyes locked.

"You fight with your heart," Veer whispered.

"Is that bad?"

"No. That's what makes you… powerful."

And somewhere, behind the courtyard walls, someone was watching. A robed figure, face hidden. Eyes glowing faintly blue.

🎶 Samudra Desh: Her Voice, the Ocean's Echo

Avantika sat by the lagoon, singing a soft melody. The sun was setting, and her voice carried gently over the water like silk.

Suddenly… the water rose.

Not wildly — but purposefully. It lifted in the shape of a symbol — one she had seen in the scroll: the sigil of Tatva.

Her breath caught.

"Do you… understand me?" she asked the water.

It shimmered, then slowly pulled back.

"You are the key," the ocean whispered in her mind.

"The first-born… of the wave."

She fell silent. First-born?

Arjuna stepped beside her.

"The waters have begun to remember.

You're awakening more than just memories, Avantika…

You're waking something older."

She turned to him, confused.

"What do you mean?"

He looked out toward the horizon.

"I mean… something is coming. Something none of us are ready for."

🌒 Elsewhere: The Hooded Stranger

In a forgotten cave, far beyond both kingdoms, a hooded figure knelt before a glowing stone altar.

They touched a blackened mark on their chest — a mirror to the twins' symbols.

"The fire and wave rise," the figure whispered.

"Good.

Let the prophecy unfold… and let them come to me.

I've waited too long in the shadows."

Lightning cracked in the sky.

And in the earth beneath the altar… something moved.
