Chapter 1
It all begins on the night of Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding reception, they were waltzing together in the middle of the ballroom floor, Varian stood beside Cass, wiping away a tear while he smiled softly for his older sister. When the song ended however, and Rapunzel's eyes met Eugene's, the now Queen of Corona asked to step into her room for a break. Eugene let her, thinking she just needed to step out, he didn't expect this being a terrible thing. Varian decided to follow, just to check if his sister was okay. If only he was a little quicker.. Rapunzel stared at herself in the mirror, still shocked about her hair being that short, and that it was going to stay brown now, probably forever, it had grown out a little, but she knew it would never be the same. "I still can't believe this is me now.." She mumbled. "You can be so much more, you know that, right Sundrop?" A sinister, unfamiliar voice taunted. Queen Rapunzel's breathing became shallow as she demanded, "Who's there?!" There was a silence, until a cloaked figure smiled wickedly at her, and then grabbed her. That's when Prince Varian came into the room, seeing his sister being taken away from him once again. "Rapunzel?!" He cried out. "Mmm!" She shouted, her voice muffled. Varian shot black rocks at the intruder, yelling, "Let her go!!" The kidnapper snapped and Rapunzel disappeared, and before leaving, the man said, "Kid, you are weak, you are pathetic and will always fail, remember that." This upset Varian, he cried out, "You're a monster!" The intruder took off his hood, taunting, "Me?! Ha ha ha!! Try looking in the mirror!" Varian's blood ran cold while the attacker vanished. Leaving the prince all alone. "R-Rapunzel.." He whispered, trying not to crush into sand... "This is all my fault.." TO BE CONTINUED.
