Moments after Sakura walking in, a boy who I assume is Connor walked in through the other competitor entrance that was opposite the one Sakura came through.
As the boy came in I heard shrieks from the spectator area and a group of girls in shirts with Connor's face on it started cheering.
"Good luck Connor, I love you", screamed one of the fangirls.
Connor blew a kiss at that girl and winked.
"OH MY GOSH!! Did you see that? Connor winked at me!", As she said that the girl looked like she wanted to faint.
"He winked at me, not you!!", said a girl next to her.
I tuned out after they started bickering and observed Conner. I would say that he was plain but neither would I say he was handsome, at least he wasn't handsome enough to explain why the girls seemed to be head over heels in love with him.
I shrugged my shoulders and spoke under my breath.
"I guess strength is the greatest attraction."
