I sat on a stone pillar, meditating. This pillar was one of the stones that the Creeper had made spring up from the ground.
I was removing impurities from my Hani. After all the lecturing that Jonah had given me and the hours spent training to search for impurities and remove them carefully, my mental stamina had grown greatly.
Jonah had given me a sword. He didn't tell me where it came from or what was it made of, but it had a red handle and a red scabbard. He instructed me to treat it as my companion from now on.
So I had been holding it at all times, sleeping while holding it close to me, and even holding it while I bathed. It was sort of troublesome, but Jonah said it was necessary.
He had also told me that all weapon users had some things they absolutely had to do. One was to become more proficient at using their weapon, and the other was to learn how to physically strengthen their body.
