The day of the festival was lively right from the morn, their inn was filled with festival goers. Most didn't leave the inn early as the festival wouldn't begin till dusk, and after the wine Reqiel had the night before, the Angel slept late.
Andras sat by a window and looked outside to the island waking up for a busy day. He could hear chatter from all around, the guests in the hallways, the sewing house on the street outside the window, and the little bakery tucked in between two stores.
He rose to his feet and sat on the bed, his attention on Reqiel, who was curled up on the bed, flaxen hair wild. It was mid-morning, but they weren't particularly in a hurry to be anywhere. They had toured some of the island the day before, and if Reqiel came to an agreement with his older brother, they might very well spend a longer time in Westway.
