[ Sytem Prompt ]

"It's like a big slumber party!" Yang crashed on her sleeping bag facing Ruby, who was busy writing something on a notebook.
Around them were other students and their sleeping gear, wearing pajamas. Other's half naked, goofing around with their friends and buddies. Though some were reading silently on their own little corner.
"I don't think dad will approve of all the boys"
Ruby said preoccupied with writing her letters.
"Heh. He likes Al though" With a smug expression, Yang shrugged as she took a look at what her sister was doing. "What's that?" She said with curiosity.
"A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going." Ruby said with a smile on her face, turning to look at Yang.
"Oh that's soo cuteeee–" Yang gets interrupted as a pillow smacks her, thrown by Ruby.
"Shut up. I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!" Ruby says with slight irritation, and loneliness.
"What about Jaune? He's—" Yang thinks for a moment before continuing. "...nice! There you go! Plus one friend! That's a hundred percent increase!"
Ruby turns on her back, looking at the ceiling with exhaustion. "Pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend" she lets out a sigh "Back to zero..."
Yang remained bright as she imparts some wise words to Ruby. "There's no such things as negative friends! You just made one friend and one enemy!"
A pillow of a dog gets thrown to Yang's face.
"Look. it's only been one day. Trust me; you've got friends all around you! You just haven't met them yet!" She remained optimistic, tryig to encourage her sister.
"Ughh. Where's Altair anyway? Shouldn't you be taking this chance to lay on top of him?" Ruby asked, as she turns to write on her notebook again.
"Now that you mention it I haven't seen him since he went to take a shower." Yang stood up, curious as to where Altair was. Scanning her surroundings she saw him walking towards them, wearing a white compression shirt, and black pajamas. While carrying a pillow and a sleeping bag in his right arm.
"Al, over here! I saved you a spot" she patted the spot besides her with a mischievous smile on her face.
"You look like you're planning something" Altair said blunty, as he sets his sleeping bag besides Yang's. Yang just smiled as she pulled him down besides her.
"You better be hugging me to sleep" Yang took his arms, wrapping them around her waist. Altair sat up, dragging Yang with him, as he placed her on his lap.
"Negotiable. What were you guys talking about earlier?" Altair rested his chin on Yang, taking in her warmth whilet she put her hands on top of his.
"Can you two get a room for yourselves" Ruby cringed as she threw the dog pillow from earlier back to Yang's face.
Yang took the pillow and rested it on her lap before moving away from Altair to face him.
"It was nothing. Just talking about Ruby's friends list here at Beacon"
"I see" He nodded before turning to Ruby, who sighed, burrying her face to her pillow. "So what's your current standing on that?"
Groaning, Ruby sits up to face Altair with defeated face, clearly tired of thinking about it. "One friend, and one enemy" she says, holding up one finger from each of her hands.
"That's somewhat...good?" Awkwardness was clear from Altair's voice, not knowing what to say to Ruby's, more or less, painful social status.
On the corner a match was lit, making noise that caught Ruby's attention. Glancing at the source, Ruby saw a beautiful raven-haired girl with a black bow on top of her head, lighting up a candle with a book besides her.
"That girl..." Ruby said with hope tinging her voice, looking at girl curiously.
Seeing Ruby look at the girl, Yang became curious, before asking her a question.
"You know her?"
Ruby remained looking at the girl with curiousity, as the girl began reading her book in silence. "Not really. She saw what happened this morning, but left before I could say anything."
Yang smiled as she stood up. "Well, now's your chance!" She walked up to the girl, dragging Ruby with her.
"Wait! What are you doing?!" Ruby panicked slightly, trying to escape from her sister's grip. But before she could do so, she had already arrived in front of the girl.
Altair followed silently, unnoticed, as he sat besides the girl, reading the book with her.
The girl, hearing the commotion, looked up at the two her book still open for Altair to see.
"Hel–looooo~!" Yang said with enthusiasm. Ruby just face palmed, before composing herself. The girl just silenty lowered her book waiting for Yang to talk again.
"I believe you two may know each other?" Yang looked at the girl with a soft smile on her face, as she lightly pushed Ruby, who had a sheepish smile, in front of her.
The girl looked at Ruby with a blank look on her face. "Aren't you... that girl that exploded?"
"Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me Crater..." Ruby stopped before reconsidering her words "Actually, you can just call me Ruby." She says slightly embarrassed.
"...okay" the girl looked down and continued reading her book, clearly uninterested with whatever the two sister were trying to do.
Yang felt awkward, and then, with a hushed voice, talked with Ruby. "What are you doing?!"
Ruby turned to Yang, responding to her with the same hushed voice. "I don't know" a drop of sweat ran down on her cheek before looking at Yang's eyes, pleading. "Help me!"
She turns to face the girl with an sheepish smile on her face.
"Something like that can happen huh" Altair said besides the girl who just nodded.
Awkward tension wrapped around Yang and Ruby, as Yang tries to strike up another conversation with the girl.
"So... What's your name?"
A sigh comes out the girl's mouth, irritated because of the interruption. "Blake".
Yang smiled, thinking that the conversation was going well. "Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister!" She said as she points at herself.
"I like your bow!"
Blake was slightly irritated now. These two sisters were interrupting her reading time, not to mention that they were forcing a conversation with her, even though she's expressing her discomfort.
"It goes great with your... pajamas!" Yang felt awkward again, it was going alright earlier (from her perspective) but Blake was just difficult.
"Right..." Blake said, her tone as dry as the desert. An uncomfortable laugh echoes from Ruby, clearly seeing that Blake clearly didn't want to interact with anyone.
"Nice night, don't you think?"
"Yes..." Blake said dryly "it's lovely! Almost as lovely as this book!" She looked at them, as if waiting for something. But clearly they didn't get anything "That I will continue to read" The two still stood there. "As soon as you leave!" Left with no option, she sent her message as clear as day.
"Yeah this girl's lost cause" Yang turned to Ruby, who looked intrigued by the book in Blake's hand.
"What's it about?" Ruby asked innocently, genuinely curious about the book.
Blake's eyes widened, her twitching slightly, looking surprised. "Uh..."
"Your book. Does it have a name?" Ruby's innocent questioning continues.
Seeing her sincerity, Blake unconscious ly blurted out something. "Well... i-it's—" Before she could continue, a voice sounded besides her, coming from Altair.
"It's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body. Romance genre"
"AHHH!" 3x
Hearing the unexpected voice, Yang, Ruby, and most especially Blake, jumped in surprise. Startled by the sudden apeparance of Altair.
"Oh. How daring of you to read such scandalous materials in a room full of studnets" A mischievous smile spread on his lips, as he stood up from leaning against the wall.
Blake's face flushed red, as she was left somewhat speechless, and embarrassed. Yang, on the other hand, put Altair in a headlock, feigning anger, as she rubbed her knuckles on his head.
"Ow ow ow..."
"You rascal. Long were you sitting there?!"
Altair got out of the headlock. And, with precision, tickled Yang into submission leaving her a laughing mess laying on the ground.
Ruby, irritated with Altair's jumpscare, jumped on him causing him to fall down to the ground, where Yang pulled him in for a submission.
A scuffle went down between the three of them, causing a commotion that attracted the notice of Weiss, who went to them in annoyance.
"What in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?"
The scuffle between the trio stopped, with Altair putting Yang in a headlock, while Ruby laid on the ground with his feet pressed firmly on her back.
Standing back up, Yang faced Weiss with surprise and disbelief.
"Not you again" 2x
The two said at the same time. On the side Ruby looked nervous, looking around, to see if they were being a bother.
"Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!"
Weiss turned to Ruby. "Oh, now you're on my side!" She scoffed, sarcasm dripping from her voice.
"I was always on your side!"
"Yeah. what's your problem with my sister? She's only trying to be nic–" Yang was picked up, resting on Altair's shoulder.
"Okay that's enough. It's time to sleep now. If you would excuse us, we'll be on our way" With a slight bow, Altair walked back to their spot, ignoring Yang's complaints, whilst dragging Ruby with him.
"At least there's someone sensible with them" Weiss said with a condescending tone in her voice, as she returns to her spot.
Blake sighed, as she sits back down on her sleeping bag before she blows out the candle, letting the entire room be enveloped in dakrness.

A/N: To be honest. What I'm doing right now is just following RWBY episodes. But don't worry original content focusing on Altiar will start by tomorrow? I'm not sure.
