"Okay, Miss Jiang."
Judith left Jiang Yi's room half-believing, half-doubting.
Having descended the stairs, she couldn't help but glance upstairs once more.
Then, she picked up her phone and dialed Gu Xici's number.
The phone rang for a long time before Gu Xici answered.
"What is it?"
A deep questioning voice came from Gu Xici on the phone.
Judith was somewhat frantic, speaking incoherently, "Mr. Gu, are you busy? Could you come back for a bit? There's something I'm not quite certain about..."
Gu Xici's impatient voice interrupted Judith before she could finish.
Gu Xici said, "I'm quite busy recently. If it's nothing important, we can talk about it when I get back."
Judith had no evidence for her suspicion and was hesitant to conclude, so she said to Gu Xici, "Miss Jiang might be sick."
"Might be?"
As a forensic scientist, Gu Xici was always logical and good at noticing details, and Judith's uncertainty only tried his patience further.
