However, Taiyi arrived at the Heaven Court ahead of Jiang Chen to discuss matters of the Heavenly Realm with the Jade Emperor.
This was entirely expected. After all, following the end of the Netherworld conflict, Taiyi immediately had time to spare, whereas Jiang Chen was delayed by his work perfecting the Heaven and Earth of the Nine States, naturally arriving later than Taiyi.
"Jade Emperor, Emperor Ziwei is visiting and requests an audience."
To show his closeness, Jiang Chen did not use the title of Qian Emperor to address the Jade Emperor, instead opting for the more intimate title of Emperor Ziwei.
Emperor Ziwei, the Heavenly Dao's chosen successor to the Jade Emperor, destined to be the future ruler of Heaven and Earth. However, this future ruler is quite different from Maitreya Buddha's "Future Buddha."
