"Ahh, it seems the dance has ended," he said with a smile as they stepped off the dance floor.
"Your dancing skills aren't bad yourself," Myra suddenly spoke up after a brief, awkward silence. Shane's lack of people skills was already starting to show, and he clearly had no idea what to say next, so her speaking up was a much-needed relief.
"Ahh, don't lie to me, beautiful," he said with a teasing smirk. "You were the one keeping me on my feet. I'm a terrible dancer by nature, though I had to improve, after all, I had a beautiful woman in my arms. I couldn't very well afford to be stepping on her toes."
He grinned proudly, feeling quite pleased with himself. At least he knew how to flirt. And judging by the way she blushed again, he figured he was definitely top-tier, an A-gamer in the flirting department. Maybe I should try this on Sophie when I get her back, he thought smugly.
