The Outer God's form pulsed, distorting reality itself. Silence followed, heavy and endless, as if the entire multiverse waited for its response.
Then, its voice rumbled, deep and vast, yet understood by all. "A mere spectacle? You reduce existence to entertainment, Nexus?" Contempt dripped from every word, shaking the skies.
Nexus chuckled. "Don't be so dramatic. Change is natural. Stories must evolve. What's the point of a multiverse if everything repeats the same way?" He motioned toward Alex. "This one rewrote fate. He proves even gods aren't chained by destiny."
Everyone turned to Alex, their gazes heavier than ever.
The Outer God's massive fist surged forward, distorting space itself, aiming straight for Nexus. But the moment it should have connected, it simply… stopped. As if the very concept of impact had been denied.
Nexus didn't even flinch. He laughed. "You can't touch me without a key to surpass my control over reality. And you don't have that."
