Tiga's ultimate move caused a powerful shockwave in the underground mine, making the entire place tremble violently.
However, there was no sign of imminent collapse.
That swarm of Xenomorphs couldn't withstand Tiga's ultimate technique—they were blasted into pieces instantly.
Tiga then switched back to Multi Type and pressed forward.
Eventually, he reached the end of the underground mining site.
There, a vast open area spread out before him.
Tiga cautiously scanned the surroundings—then spotted a number of bodies lying not far away.
He immediately rushed over to check.
Only to find… they were all dead. And had died from suffocation.
Each corpse was frozen in a painful expression of agony.
Tiga looked at them. His face revealed no emotion.
Just then, he noticed something strange—their stomachs seemed to be… moving.
He took a closer look.
"Splat! Splat! Splat!"
In the next second, the corpses' stomachs suddenly burst from within.
Dozens of creatures that looked like serpents with Xenomorph-like heads sprang out, coiling around Tiga's body.
They opened their maws and began biting down!
These were Xenomorph larvae—Chestbursters.
"Nngh—HAH!"
Tiga roared, releasing a powerful surge of energy that vaporized the Chestbursters latched onto him.
"Damn it! They were still incubating?!"
Daigo's voice growled, filled with fury.
Tiga's eyes began to glow. He scanned the corpses one by one, locating the larvae still inside.
Then, with precise aim, he fired rapid mini-laser bursts—piercing through the corpses and obliterating the hidden Chestbursters inside.
Once every last larva was confirmed eliminated, Tiga continued ahead.
Between clusters of minerals, he discovered an unsettling sight—dozens upon dozens of eggs.
"Could these be Facehugger eggs?"
Daigo guessed as he laid eyes on them.
"Crack!"
"Crack!"
Suddenly, several eggs split open—followed by many more.
From inside, Facehuggers leapt out and lunged at Tiga.
Tiga quickly retreated, dodging the first wave, then raised his hand and fired an ice beam into the air.
"BOOM!"
The freezing beam exploded into a cloud of icy mist, instantly freezing the airborne Facehuggers and their unhatched eggs.
Still immature, the Facehuggers were powerless against Tiga's frost beam, freezing solid within moments.
Tiga followed up with continuous laser blasts, wiping out the entire swarm.
"But where's the Xenomorph Queen…?"
Tiga looked around, searching for the mother.
It was odd—this cavern was huge, and there were so many eggs, yet not a single adult Xenomorph in sight.
Puzzled, he pressed onward.
Finally, atop a small hill at the far end of the mine, he saw it.
A towering creature over ten meters tall—with scythe-like arms and spider-like legs.
It was unmistakable.
The Xenomorph Queen.
"There you are."
Tiga immediately fired a barrage of lasers and flew straight toward it.
Strangely, the lasers struck the Queen—and detonated her body into chunks of flesh on impact.
So easily.
Too easily.
Tiga hovered midair in confusion, staring at the bloody remains.
"What the hell…? The Queen should've been way tougher than the regular ones… how could she die so easily?"
Something wasn't right.
Even if this looked like a good thing… it felt off.
"Huh?"
Behind the hill, Tiga noticed more bodies.
Upon closer inspection, he found they weren't human corpses—but monster cubs.
Looking carefully, Tiga recognized them immediately.
They looked just like his previous opponent—Gadi.
"Cha!"
The fact that Gadi's offspring had died here took Tiga by complete surprise.
He began inspecting them one by one.
Each of them had their chest cavity torn open—just like the humans from earlier.
Exactly the same method the Chestbursters used to emerge!
"Don't tell me… the Xenomorphs have started using monsters as hosts to breed their young?!"
Daigo was chilled to the bone at the thought.
"RUMMMMMMBLE!!"
Suddenly, a massive tremor shook the mine. Cracks split across the cavern floor.
"Cha!?"
Tiga immediately tried to take flight to avoid the quake.
But just as he ascended, the ground beneath him erupted, and a massive claw shot upward—grabbing Tiga out of the air!
The colossal hand rose higher and higher.
Then, a gargantuan figure burst through the earth.
Outside.
Rena and the others were tending to the wounded.
That's when the ground started shaking violently.
Everyone panicked—thinking it was an earthquake—and scrambled for cover.
"RUMMMMBLE!!"
The underground mine caved in, and then—
A gigantic silhouette burst out from below.
It was an enormous Xenomorph.
But it looked different from the smaller ones.
Its head had a massive, sharp horn—and each clawed hand sprouted a writhing tendril.
"A monster! A monster appeared!"
"Run!! Get out of here!!"
The sight of it sent everyone fleeing in terror.
"Wait… it's holding Tiga!!"
Rena suddenly saw—the Xenomorph had Tiga clenched in its hand!
"GRAAAHHHH!!"
The monstrous Xenomorph glared furiously at Tiga, its roar full of rage.
It was as if it were blaming him for the slaughter of its kin—and now it was going to crush him in retaliation!
"Nngh… HAH!!"
In that instant, Tiga erupted in radiant light—his body expanding exponentially in the blink of an eye.
In seconds, he had returned to his original colossal size.
Still in its grip, Tiga's sudden transformation smashed the massive Xenomorph beneath his weight.
Rena exhaled in relief when she saw Tiga had broken free—then quickly turned and ran.
Tiga now stood tall over the struggling monster, pummeling its head with massive fists.
But this Xenomorph was different.
Its body was like iron—Tiga's punches felt like human fists hitting wood.
They barely did any damage.
"GRAAAHH!!"
Seizing a moment when Tiga's punch missed, the monster lunged forward and bit into his arm.
Its razor-sharp fangs brought unbearable pain.
At the same time, energy gathered in the horn atop its head—before blasting a crimson beam straight into Tiga's chest.
BOOM—Tiga's body exploded in a shower of sparks.
"HAAAH!!"
Gritting his teeth, Tiga retaliated—thrusting his palm into the monster's open jaws and firing a beam point-blank!
KA-BOOM!
The inside of the creature's mouth erupted in explosions and gore.
As it screamed and opened its jaws in agony, Tiga yanked his arm free and leapt back.
But his forearm—already soaked in the monster's corrosive blood—began to dissolve.
Glowing burns and white-hot blisters spread across his arm.
Energy leaked from his skin like dripping light.
Tiga winced in pain, furiously shaking his arm.
