"Cha!"
Tiga quickly pressed his other hand to his corroded arm and gently swept upward.
Miraculously, the wounds healed instantly, and the corrosion was halted!
"GAGAGAGAAAH!!"
The massive Xenomorph let out an enraged roar as it climbed back to its feet.
It lunged toward Tiga, intent on resuming the battle.
Tiga readied his stance, preparing for the next clash.
Meanwhile, the satellite had already captured and transmitted the footage back to the Victory Team's base. Captain Megumi and Yasumi watched the screen in growing tension.
"Deputy Captain, have you arrived yet?!"
Megumi immediately asked.
"Captain, we've just arrived!"
Gen's voice came through the communicator.
Megumi breathed a sigh of relief.
"DIDIDIDIDIDIDI!!!"
Suddenly, an emergency alarm blared throughout the base.
Megumi and Yasumi's expressions darkened instantly.
Yasumi quickly began typing, and a city map appeared on the main screen. Two flashing red dots pulsed wildly.
"This is bad! Two monster signals are emerging from underground Kyoto!"
Yasumi shouted in alarm.
"Switch to satellite view—now!"
Megumi ordered at once.
Yasumi typed furiously.
The screen zoomed out to show Earth from space, then zoomed back in to display Kyoto's situation.
Kyoto.
"RUMMMMBLE!!"
In the quiet of the night, a sudden, massive earthquake shook Kyoto.
Cracks split the ground in the city center, and buildings began to collapse.
In mere moments, countless people were crushed in their sleep.
By the time anyone realized what was happening, the entire center of Kyoto had become a crater—the once-thriving cityscape reduced to rubble.
"GRAAAHHHH!!"
A colossal monster burst from the earth—identical in appearance to the massive Xenomorph Tiga was currently battling.
But that wasn't all. A second one emerged behind it—even taller, with sickle-like arms, tentacle-covered wrists, and a bloated abdomen supported by many spider-like legs.
This one was clearly the Xenomorph Queen.
"GLUGLUGLU!!"
The Queen let out a bizarre sound—an eerie, complex tone that sent chills down the spine.
The first massive Xenomorph heard the Queen's cry and immediately bowed in obedience.
"GRAAHHH!!"
Then it roared and its horn began glowing with crimson energy.
A second later, it unleashed a blazing red energy beam in a sweeping arc!
Buildings, the ground—anything in its path was obliterated instantly.
"AAAAAAHH!!"
"It's a monster!"
"RUN!!!"
Now fully awake, the terrified citizens fled in every direction, scrambling to escape being eaten.
"GLUGLU!!"
The giant Xenomorph chuckled menacingly as it watched the humans run around like ants.
Oddly, it didn't immediately attack—just stood there, mocking their desperation.
Some noticed this and, though confused, didn't hesitate to keep running.
But then—
"THUD THUD THUD THUD!!"
Many people suddenly slammed into something invisible and fell to the ground.
"What the hell are you doing?!"
The ones behind, seeing the road blocked, shouted in frustration.
"I don't know! It's like there's some invisible glass blocking us!"
"What nonsense is that?!"
Skeptical others tried to press forward—and also slammed into the invisible barrier.
"What the hell is this?!"
"Let us out!!"
Panic surged.
With two monsters rampaging behind them, being trapped like this was unthinkable.
"GAGAGA!!"
The giant Xenomorph let out a creepy laugh—it was clearly the one behind the invisible wall.
It then lashed out with its tentacles, sweeping up humans like flies.
One tentacle alone ensnared dozens, yanking them all toward its gaping maw.
The Queen joined in, flinging her own tentacles and devouring people left and right.
That area had now become the monsters' buffet—and humans were the menu.
No one could resist their hunt.
Victory Team HQ.
"Damn it! Where did these monsters come from?! And how do they have abilities like Gadi?!"
Yasumi exclaimed, stunned.
Analysis revealed several traits similar to Gadi.
"To break their barrier, we'll need to use liquid nitrogen!"
Yasumi urgently proposed.
"In that case—Yasumi, have the logistics team install a liquid nitrogen beam onto Jet Falcon One. You'll be piloting it to Kyoto and destroying the barrier."
Megumi gave her order swiftly.
"Understood!"
Yasumi replied firmly.
Though usually a desk officer, he didn't hesitate when the moment called for courage.
He immediately left the command room.
Megumi then opened comms with Gen.
"Deputy Captain, what's your status? Can you make it to Kyoto immediately?!"
"Captain, the monster here hasn't been eliminated yet—but Tiga has the upper hand. I believe we can leave it to him!"
Back at the mine.
Tiga was still locked in fierce combat with the massive Xenomorph.
He straddled its head, raining down powerful punches. Each blow made the beast wince.
Just then, Tiga sensed something in the direction of Kyoto.
He turned his head to look—and the delay cost him.
The massive Xenomorph seized the moment, wrapping its claw around Tiga's neck and yanking him down.
"Take this!"
Shinjo suddenly fired a Dexlasium Beam, slicing through the Xenomorph's tentacle.
Tiga rolled aside and created distance from the monster.
Once on his feet, he immediately launched a laser attack aimed at the Xenomorph's head.
"Leave this to Tiga—we're heading to Kyoto!"
Gen gave the command without hesitation.
To be honest, there wasn't much more they could do here.
It was better to let Tiga handle this battle, while they raced to confront the two new threats in Kyoto.
Jet Falcon Two took off immediately, heading toward the city.
Tiga didn't object—he understood the danger in both locations. A split approach was necessary.
"Cha!"
"GRAAAHH!!"
Suddenly, the massive Xenomorph plunged its claws into the ground.
And in less than a second—tentacles burst from the earth at Tiga's feet, wrapping tightly around his legs!
